BABORUI Silicone Concrete Candle Molds with Lids, Cement Vessels for Candle Making Supplies

Editing this review because I’mExcited to see the company actually listened to us and they fixed the mold for the lid which makes this mold absolutely perfect! Now with the new lid you get a nice smooth top. This lid is harder to demold but I’ll take it to get a beautiful smooth lid to my jar. I still found ways to make the old lid work so I will hold on to them but I’m so happy they upgraded it! Most companies don’t care but this one did! They listened to their clients! I was so upset about the old lid because I absolutely loved the bottom portion. It has a nice thick wall and just looks so high quality and sturdy. I’d now feel comfortable using these for a luxury line of candles. I shared this update in my cement group on Facebook and many people complained that they couldn’t get the bottom portion to fit properly. I have an easy solution for that as shown in my photos. Pop a little plastic cup. (I used a snack cup) inside the mold for extra support. We all have objects around our homes that we can use. It rounds out the top. Just make sure it’s level.Also in my photos I included one of my solutions for the old lid which was embedding broken glass on the top.Anyway my old review is below.This mold is great except for one thing…. I wish the lid was turned the other way! The mold for the lid was made upside down IMO. The unfinished part should be underneath but instead it ends up being the top. It’s not easy to get the exposed cement smooth like it would be if it was inside the mold! That is my only complaint. The jar part is nice. The mold is sturdy but not too stiff where it’s hard to de-mold! I just wish they made the lid the other way. Still the price was great!

I'm so happy with this resin. It is clear, so far I'm loving it & also it has a long pot time . I have been looking for food grade resin. So I thought I'd try this and I'm so happy I did. I'm very excited about this!

Edit 1/29/24:As suspected, the mold is not always quite round (looks round to the eye) but the perfectly round lid will not fit in the opening without a lot of sanding to warp the lid.I do love the lid design and the lids do look amazing. They also fit perfectly on my fire pit mold. Wish I could buy just the lid mold separately in a multi-pack.Original: I have made 5 jars so far and this mold is great. I love the new lid design. Its a little harder to demold but they look so much better.My only worry would how well this is going to hold up. It is fairly thin silicone and nothing to support the walls but so far they look very nice. I am ordering more.

Me gusta. Facil de desmoldar. Lo uso para hacer envases de concreto para velas de 180gr. Como consejo, buscar alguna tapadera o algo circular para ponerlo en la cavidad mientrar fragua ya que puede quedar ovalado si no se acomoda perferctamente.

This is really cute but after less than 10 uses it distorts pretty bad

Could be better or larger for the price. Lid mold wasn't great. We have tried multiple times using molds for concrete.

It Works fine

One of the jar molds came poor and misshaped. Both lid molds fit on one jar. Repeated concrete vessel mold several times. Vessel comes out more oval then circle and lid won’t fit even with sanding.
