great product and good quality, it does what it’s intended to do, battery life is amazing and it charges very fast too. it also works while plugged in, unlike previous models.

My old Norelco trimmer was on its last leg at over 10 years old. After research, I decided to go with the new MG5750/49 due to its reviews and the added extras. Upon first use, I knew immediately I made the right choice. This is quieter, lighter, has loads of attachments and trips my face and beard flawlessly. The feel is so much smoother. The blades are extremely sharp and have great precision. Most of all, I don't feel like I've shaved or trimmed with a piece of glass. The battery is excellent. I don't use this every day, more like once a week. I can leave it unplugged for that week and it still has plenty of power to it. So here are a few pros and cons: Pros - Lightweight Long lasting battery Great precision to get close Quiet operation Lots of attachments for facial hair, facial grooming, full body shave, even hair grooming Great price Cons - Some of the blades are not marked as to what they're for and with so many, you have to look them up in the manual. Not a big deal though and definitely not a deal breaker Finally, having read some of the reviews about this turning on by itself and being able to shut it off, I've had no problems at all with this happening. I'm thinking there may be an operator malfunction or some just live in a haunted house - lol!!!

I bought the Philips Norelco Multi Groomer MG5750/49 - 18 piece WITHOUT the travel case so I thought it wasn't coming with anything to hold the kit in but the kit does come with a bag to hold the entire inventory of attachments, clipper heads, and the clipper. Pros: Trimmer works well. All the attachments and clipper heads clip on fine and do their job. I've used everything in the kit with no issues. Kit was used to give myself a full haircut and body hair trim in one sitting (about an hour and a half). Battery had full power the whole way with no dimming or drop of power. Body hair attachments worked good in sensitive areas and precision clipper head works well. No hang ups because of dull blades or not enough power. The whole clipper is rubberized for good grip and no slippage. Cons: Attachments are rinse-able but the clipper is not. You have to clip off attachment if you're going to rinse the head to clean. I just cleaned it dry with the little included brush. Worked fine. There's also no light indicating charge level or even that you've plugged it in for charging. There's not even an led light indicating the unit is on and running. I ended up using my old clipper bag because the one included with this kit is kind of on the cheap side. If you use grooming kits then you know you'll buy more. I fully expect to buy another in a year or so based on my previous experience with trimmers and comparing to this one. This was a good purchase and so far, I wouldn't have any issues purchasing another Norelco Multi groomer. Does what it says and was pretty good quality for the price. I've gotten more expensive competitive trimmer kits of less quality. There's not a lot of bells and whistles here but there's quality where it matters.

Norelco's a brand I've heard of *at all* before sitting down to buy my first electric razor, so I decided that this one was both well within my arbitrarily defined price range *and* probably not going to kill me upon turning it on. What I've received from this product is nothing short of a good shave. Well, that and the wave of emotions that come with finally being able to sculpt your facial hair into that distinct style I've been looking to try and emulate for a really long time, with the only limiting factor prior to this purchase being that I'm not very skilled with multi-blade razors and straight-edges scare the hell out of me. Enough rambling though, let's get into something of actual *substance* for this review. This set comes in 3 main parts - the body of the razor itself, the bag of various heads and guards available for this product, and the charging cable. The body is pretty lightweight and as uncomplicated as it gets - push head into top, press big silver button to start the buzzing of follicle culling. I charged it once so far and I have no idea how much battery it has left but it keeps turning on every time I need it so I'm not going to ask many questions. The accessories that come with this product are probably mentioned somewhere in the description, but my favorite ones are the standard head, the wide head that kind of looks comical in some really esoteric way, and the tiny little brush that I realized you're meant to use to sweep out any wayward hairs that fall into the top where the razor head fits in. I mean, so long as I don't need to use a toothbrush to do that part, I'm all for it. The charging cable is there too, and looks nice along the right wall of my bathroom, perpetually plugged into the wall outlet and doing literally nothing. Overall, I like this thing. It was relatively inexpensive and lets me go from "homeless and/or hipster" to "functioning member of society who ~definitely~ didn't wake up at 1:30 and have a hot pocket for "breakfast"".

This is a high quality trimmer that I have been using for years without any problems. I would definitely purchase it again.

Plenty of power. Can't imagine needing more battery, lasts hours. Ergonomic, economical. Bang for the buck you can't do better. My girlfriend just cut my hair using it. She's a professional barber, 50 years experience. She said "wow, this thing is great!" I'm completely satisfied. Glad I bought it. On the other hand, after 6 months the power button would turn it off. Couldn't get it to turn off. I guess a plus would be that it was nearly indestructible. After repeatedly throwing it on the ground really hard I had to smash it with a hammer to get it to stop.

If you are one that has a tough beard this is for you! I tried the manskape at first but it was not powerful enough for me. This one is a tank! It goes through my unwanted hairs with ease! It also has alot of accessories. Battery last long also! All in all, best by for me!
