Great as dry shampoo
For my dry shampoo, I typically use NYX HD setting powder (100% silica) mixed with a bit of corn starch and scented talc powder. This product is silica but also contains talc, and works absolutely wonderfully on its own as a dry shampoo!! I have platinum hair so I don’t have to worry about it looking white, but if you have darker or red or blue hair, etc, finely crush a bit of eyeshadow that matches your shade into it! Works better than any dry shampoo I’ve used, and I’m a hair stylist who’s tried them all!

Best Matte Powder Ever
I've found some great makeup at low prices on Amazon lately and this is one. I've never found setting powder that mattes as well as this product does. The trick is to use very little because it can get messy, but let me tell you that you won't believe how well it bakes on your face. The price is so low I will always buy this product. Word to the wise, don't be fooled that high-end powders and foundations are better, not so! Since I'm on a tight budget I have to search and compare prices and I've found some great makeup deals on my favorite shopping site. Believe it or not, I found another one of high-end sites that was expensive and product looks like crap when you apply to your face. So if you have time, search Amazon for some great makeup and brush deals. I did and still am.

Great setting powder but flashback!
I really love how this powder sets my makeup and controls my oil. I just find it to have a cast and flashback with flash photography. For this reason, I mostly wear it during the day when that usually isn't a problem. I would be interested in trying the tinted version of this to see if it has that problem. I am a medium dark Black woman so perhaps lighter skin tones wouldn't have this problem.

NOT pure silica!
Noticed after a few weeks of using that I was getting fine wrinkles and extremely dry skin. Looked at super fine print of ingredients and it has talc in it despite it being advertised as pure silica. Talc is extremely drying so I’m not sure how this can claim to ‘smooth’ anything. Dry lake bed, y’all.

Really Like This
Very nice setting powder. I honestly don't understand everyone's fascination with the Laura Mercier setting powder - I was so underwhelmed by it I threw it out. I honestly like this setting much better. I do top off with Skindinavia setting spray for my long days at the office.
