Fantastic Four: The World's Greatest Comic Magazine

What if? The Kirby and Lee Team Had Stayed on the Fantastic Four?
This volume collects the maxi-series: The Fantastic Four: The World's Greatest Comic Magazine: and they actually make you remember why it was known as such. This is a loving tribute, the splash pages and covers especially take you back to that era where for a moment you might actually believe that Kirby had not left Marvel for the Distinguished Competition (DC). This was a time when Crystal had joined the team and stood around even after Sue's pregnancy. The story has all the key players the Inhumans, X-Men, Doctor DOOM! (had to say that last part loud) and even Glactus.Like any tribute if you look too closely it comes apart a bit, you can appreciate the depth of Lee's writing, these issues flow a little too fast, and the art is close, but Kirby is Kirby after all. That said this is one enjoyable tribute with a few unique twists, well worth it!!! Nuff Said True Believers! Make Mine Marvels 1970's Style.

A time Trip
A great return to the hey days of Kirby and Lee. I thought this was a fun read. Plot spoiler: Reed has the cosmic cube in his power and "fails" to remember to turn Ben back into being a human being. What?? This was a massive plot hole in the stories resolution. I am shocked the creative team never saw this. It's wild. But it is a small thing in an overall great series. Some of the splash pages were so good they gave me chills. A worthy tribute to this period in comics. Some of the art is great and some not. Mostly good. The hardback edition is very nice.

New but classic
Great recreation of the FF history in the marvel universe. I thoroughly enjoyed the read.

Definitely not Lee and Kirby
I borrowed this from the library. I tried to read it but the style of writing is not Stan Lee's. The artwork is just not Jack Kirby. I decided to leave the rating at 3 star because I obviously didn't like it, but did not finish reading it.
