NOT 18" - 20"!!! 12" half the size of what was displayed
Took a month and a half to arrive. The item was 12" and not 18" - 20" as advertised. Really upset was to be used for religious and ceremonial purposes. Just started the refund process....

Perfection!!
Perfection is what this is... Perfect size and took me no time to learn how to blow it.It doesn't take much to blow it at all. To much force will cause your mouth to hurt. Place it on the far right side of your mouth, putting you bottom right lower lip in between your teeth, place the horn, and release your lip. This method seem to work for ME...

This shofar is loud and clear. I like that it came with a carrying bag and the odor spray.

Not 18-20 inches, only like 12
Shofar was half the size of the photos, though very nice, and the odor is non existent, which is incredible. Very pleased but only 3 stars due to it being smaller than expected. The bag is very with it too, blue and says ark of the covenant. I will be using this before I lead Worship to start revivals, prayer and Glory gatherings.

Beautiful instrument, but shipping delays and unusual bag
The shofar I ordered is a beautiful instrument, and easy to play, and with a nice clear tone. It's fully polished only on one side, and rough on the other. I think I was expecting it to be fully polished, but it's still quite nice.I paid extra to have it delivered before Rosh Hashanah. Ultimately, it arrived just as the holiday was ending. I'm not sure what the delay was, but it was frustrating not to have any tracking information until the very end.The shofar came with a most unusual carpet bag for a case. I thought it was quite nice until my children pointed out to me that there was a topless woman in the design. I think I'll be making/buying a different case that will be G-rated for small children. :)Overall, a good purchase.
