Very pleased with this solar light, I didn't want a pir, but one that stayed on until light. Very easy to install. I used the included tie wraps and attached it to a drain pipe. I can now see what my dog gets up to after dark.

Stopped working after couple of weeks and there is no support or service available from seller.

Easy to install and sturdy ,good quality, works great, so far so good.

This is a very effective solar light.Unlike most garden solar lights, the light and solar panel are separate wired units which means the solar panel can be fitted to benefit from maximum sunlight while the light can be a distance away. This makes it ideally suited to illuminating an outbuilding where it isn't practical to run a power supply. We initially used it this way with the solar panel on our woodshed roof and the light inside to illuminate an otherwise very dark and windowless shed. It worked well but as the light doesn't have a PIR, it is on permanently in dark outdoor conditions which felt wasteful.We then repositioned it over our front porch with the solar panel south-facing above the guttering, the cable run between the guttering and soffit and now, during the hours of darkness, our porch remains illuminated.It charges very efficiently at this time of year, ie April-May and the light has lasted for most of the night and in increasing as the hours of daylight increase. Having only had it for 6 weeks, I haven't yet been able to test it during the shorter days of autumn/winter.I can't fault the design or efficiency of either the light or its solar panel but if I were choosing a solar light of this design again, I would select one with PIR so it is only fully illuminated when triggered by movement either of ourselves, a visitor or an intruder. It feels wasteful to be powering a light which isn't strictly necessary during the night. However, it costs nothing to charge via solar so this is just our preference.The light works exactly as promised and offers good value for money.

This fitted the bill perfectly, solar charging though the day (solar panel can be located separately from the light source). The light is IP65rated so will cope with the worst of the British weather. Note this is not a motion sensor light which will trigger to come on (I would have given this 5* if it had!), rather provides continuous illumination after dusk. Easy to install and setup, simply a few screws to attach the light and solar panel and away you go never having to touch this. The number of hours illumination depends upon how much daylight and solar charging it has had during the day. Overall a well made light very reasonable priced.

We wanted to test this because we thought it had a motion detection sensor - the vendor is very clear about this so it was our mistake. So if you need a light source on all night rather than a motion sensor activated light this might be worth a look.✅ As described and as advertised - though we'd put no motion sensor in the title too.✅ We like that the light and the solar panel can be attached separately. You're obviously restricted by the cable length but the advantage of the separate fixings is that you can position the solar panel in the optimal place with most sunlight and then have the light where you need it above a door etc.✅ Well made - no defects cosmetic or otherwise.✅ Clear instructions for on/off and fixings.✅ Tested ok in UK summer for good battery for overnight lighting but unsure of winter days where the sun isn't as bright/powerful and out as much of the day.We really think this needs a PIR motion sensor but you might need an always on after dark light without having electricity to that location.

We are big fans of solar lights as they are so convenient to have if you don’t have any mains sockets nearby and have many solar lights throughout our front and back garden and this solar flood light is a welcome addition to our front garden which tends to be quite dark.The light is well made, good quality, easy toinstall and feels very durable. It comes with a large solar panel and a decent length cable so you can place the panel is a sunny area and the light a fair distance away.The light is bright and lights up the front area of our garage and driveway very well. I was a little disappointed that it’s not a motion sensor however there is an on/off button if you don’t wish to have it constantly on. It’s great for us as our road is quite dark even though there are solar street lamps they don’t feel bright enough so this light provides us with extra light for security too.At the current price of £24.19 it’s a fair price and good value for money.
