I'm one of those people who has an unusual obsession with office supplies. As such, I have tried numerous pens in hopes of finding the ~perfect~ pen to use in my everyday life. These are not the ~perfect~ pen; however, they are pretty great regardless. They are comfortable to hold and use thanks to the rubber grip, and the tips are SUPER fine as promised. After using Micron pens for the first time, I found that I favor pens in the .25-.4mm range for writing as the lines are finer and cleaner, and these definitely meet that expectation. So far, I haven't had any issues with bleeding, smearing, skipping, etc. I think it's because the ink comes out so thin, it dries before it even has a chance to smear; but then, I'm also right-handed, so unless I'm especially careless, I don't have many opportunities to smear my writing. I will say that, because the lines obviously come out thinner and therefore somewhat lighter than .5+ pens, people with poor eyesight may struggle to read things written with these .28mm pens, but I wear glasses so it doesn't bother me. Price wise, I think that these are a good deal. They cost about the same amount as the Papermate InkJoy gel pens and Tul gel pens I've been using, but you get more in a pack and the quality is great. Plus, anything finer than .5mm is frustratingly hard to come by. I definitely recommend giving these a try.

My go-to pen for years. No skipping, no ink blobs, just clean, thin (0.28) lines through and through till the last drop of ink. Best quality pen I have used and very difficult to find a good thin pen like this! Sleek and well made.

I absolutely love these pens, they write super pigmented and smooth. Ive not had an issue with these pens at all, its very light weight if thats what you prefer in pens and they last a while though I write a ton! They have a silicone grip and it feels nice and helps with tiredness of the hand when writing.

I'm one of the OCD nurses that loves her pen's! I used to love the pilot micro pens- and still do but have found a new ultimate micro pen. This Uni-ball Signo RT1 Gel Ink Pen is comfortable to grip and has a great smoothness to her. I haven't had a problem with not drying quickly. I just ordered the colored ones just like this and can't wait to try them out!

TLDR: crisp, smudge free, fine writing BUT clogs way too easily For context, I normally use FRIXION synergy knock 0.38 erasable pens or the Pentel Energel fine tip pens. I work in healthcare and like that the FRIXION pens are erasable, but they are not very concentrated in color. I like the Energel pens, but they smudge very easily. I was excited to try this pen because I heard great things about it. I normally like thin pens, so this was one that I have been wanting to try. When I first wrote with it, it was beautiful. Super fine lines, very crisp, and very good smudge resistance. If it stayed like this, I would’ve said it was my new favorite pen! It is very lightweight and comfortable to write with. However, it clogs way too easily. I think it was within 2 to 3 days that my first pen clogged up with no valid rhyme or reason. I tried soaking it in hot water. I tried multiple troubleshooting mechanisms, but nothing seemed to get it back to its normal writing capacity. I opened up another pen and within a week it did the same thing. I thought it might have been the notepad I was writing on for some reason, but even after changing notebooks, I noticed the same problem. It is very frustrating to have gone through two pens of this five pack in less than two weeks. Hopefully it was just a defective batch and I’ll probably try to order it again in the future but for now it doesn’t meet my expectations. Super disappointed since it writes so beautifully. I included a picture of what the dead pen was writing like. I had thrown the pen away after it died on me during my shift so I wasn’t able to show the comparison on the bottom. For reference, I included the other two pens I usually write with so there’s a visual comparison of what a brand new pen writes like.

Everyone around me knows i am ballistic for these pens. Some of the finest tips you’ll get on the market for a decent price before descending into ultra-fine technical pen hell. One of these pens has lasted me several months of daily use. The pens are also nice to look at, no weird grips. Artists- the pen has very limited range on the amount of surfaces it can draw on (because of the super fine point, will scratch). Drawing over dry watercolour should be safe but gouache is a probably not.

Great pens. I love the fine point. They do run out of ink pretty fast. I go through about 1 per week but I just keep a stash on hand.

love these pens, they are my favorite for writing in my tiny moleskine dayplanner. simple construction, nice smooth ink flow but fun scratchy feeling when writing, ink is dark and never smudges. comfortable to write with with small hands. lines are crisp and super thin, great for drawing small things with lots of hatching. pen click when you retract it is nice as well. big fan, have been ordering replacement ink cartridges for my original ones for a couple years now too so they are pretty durable. only gripe is the refills always seem underfilled but thats not a problem with the pens themselves.

I usually use a 0.38mm tip so it took me a while to get used to the 0.28mm tip but now I use it all the time. The pen writes smoothly and dries quickly.

The ink quality is not good. May be it is dry. With 0.28 tip i wanted to try it. It has a feeling like when the refill is about to finish

I'm really disappointed as the description says these pens are water resistant and they are 100% NOT water resistant. For normal writing they are fine, but definitely not for underneath mediums like watercolour paint. In the features section, these pens are advertised as water resistant, but unfortunately they are not. I tested them once the ink was dry and the ink bleeds profusely when in contact with water.
