My girl can't handle chicken so this was a great substitute that's shelf stable. A big con however is how it dissolves, I find it dissolved best in very hot or boiling water while being whisked (I use a small whisk) I then top with cold water to the recommended water level and serve.

I wrote a negative review at first, as I found the product did not dissolve and my old dog didn't like it at all. I have now worked out how to use the product, as I didn't want to have to throw away such an expensive and seemingly good product. You have to dissolve the powder in hot water and leave it for a while. It is no good trying to dissolve it in cold. It then works and the old dog will tolerate it.

The price of this product made me think carefully. But I am glad I bought it. In the past, making a gravy that was tasty and free of harmful ingredients was not easy. But this powder is ideal. I am not sure if it is a coincidence but Ollie seems to be moving around more smoothly.

First dose today and my GSP finished her dinner!

I did a lot of research before choosing this product for Fernando (my diva-ish cavapoo). It’s a healthy alternative to the liquid broths because it doesn’t have all of the added ingredients, also it lasts much longer! Get’s 5 stars from the D.O.G too, he scoffs his food down in no time at all now!
