This is the second product that I have tried for neck stretches. The first one was a headed cradle. It felt very comfortable to the point where I felt no stretching. BUT, I got a great sleep and woke pain free. It was a hard plastic though and so I wanted to use a firm foam so that it was more like a pillow. And I wanted to get a good stretch for longer lasting results.This neck stretcher delivered. For the first time, I actually felt tension and strain at the point of my neck where this was positioned. I was expecting a vertebrae stretch, but it was more like applying pressure to ligament. So, I was a little surprised but then I realized that this was also a good stretch.Within 30 minutes, the tension subsided. And, I could have fallen asleep on it, but I decided to heed the warning on the package and put the block away. I think it would have been even more effecticve with hear somehow.The thing that I wanted to know is if it would hold my head up or allow my chin to tilt to the side thereby relieving the tension. While it did not completely brace my chin, which is helpful for TMJ, it did help.Finally, I appreciate that it arrived ready to use. I did not have to wait for foam to expand.So, all in all, I believe that this product is good for me. My neck felt stretched and the contact point and my head was supported.

It’s a great tool if you have neck problems. I use it to strengthen my neck muscles. Worked good.

Product doesn't seem to come with any visual detailed instructions for how to use, you just read and interpret the text instructions, if that's ok for you. The video can be found on this online product listing. Wife didn't like the feel of the pillow in either position that we can supposedly use it in, it was uncomfortable for her. For me, it felt ok, not super comfortable but not uncomfortable either. I'm sure it feels a certain way, somewhat comforting yet not, like getting an interesting massage. But neither of us have neck problems, so that might factor into our evaluation compared to other reviews. On a related note, maybe the pillow could also be repurposed for other uses beyond its intended use, but we'll see.

I love this neck pillow. It was recommended by my massage therapist/yoga expert. She told me lie my neck on it with a pillow roll under my waist and a pillow under my knees. I’d suggest using the neck pillow this way so you don’t strain your neck. I’ve come to look forward to my daily 10 minutes lying this way! It definitely makes my neck feel better.

Seems well made. I like having pressure on the back of my neck when I get a tension headache and this works well for that.
