Very strong and well finished railing
I bought a 4 foot railing than ordered two more, a 5 and 7 foot. They come about a half inch to an inch shorter than ordered. Not a big deal for what I am using them for. Very simple to install. A helper would be helpful when it’s time to position the railing on the brackets. Very attractive and durable.

Solid and well built
I ordered two for the corner of my stairs where the there was no railing. They were easy to install and are a simple design so look good. Need to be screwed into studs, otherwise it would rip out of the wall because it's solid wood.

Beautiful but Missing Hardware
The railing is sturdy and beautiful. It would look amazing in place but we didn’t receive any of the hardware that was supposed to be included to adhere it to the wall!!

Well made
I bought this 3 ft long handrail for the garage wall side of the 3 steps leading up into the house so that there would be a handrail on both sides of the steps. The brackets are very sturdy but it is obvious that the brackets need to be screwed into wall studs instead of using the wall anchors that come with it so that is what I did. Otherwise the handrail most likely would be pulled from the wall when grabbed with force. The rail itself is well made and has a nice finish.

Perfect for a small area
We have three steps down from our main entry into the kitchen and wanted something for our elderly parents. This worked perfectly and looks like it was meant to be there. Install was a little tricky.

Good enough...
I bought this primarily to provide an extra handrail for my 2.5yr old son. My 5yr old daughter tends to use the left side of the stairs and grab the main railing, so he ends up with bare wall for part of the descent while following her, and this has led to several stumbles, especially when he's carrying something in his hands. The different lengths to choose from and the rounded edges were key factors in picking this particular rail. I ordered the 3.3ft (39-40"), and the railing a received measures in at 39.75", so we're good there. I received all of the advertised installation hardware, so no complaints there. Before my main complaints, a warning. Do NOT install this railing with the included drywall anchors. Get 3" interior wood screws and mount the railing directly to a stud with as many of the mounting points as you can manage. I was able to get 2 of 3 on the lower mount and all of upper mount's screws into studs, and the brackets are secure. My main issue is that the brackets themselves are not very sturdy. They are fairly thin, and since they are perpendicular to the force applied to the railing, so I can feel them flexing with just a little bit of pressure on the railing. This will generally be fine for my children, as they haven't shown any inclination yet to hang from the existing railings, but I have my doubts the brackets will stand up to any sort of emergency for an adult.
