I like this OBD extension splitter. It pops in easily and adds an additional port if you have a device that needs the OBD all of the time. My only comment is that it can fall out if it gets bumped because it doesn't "click and lock in", but it never happened to me the way I installed it. For the price it works well and the length of the extension is reasonable. It seems well made and has quality parts. It has worked flawlessly for month.

Made hiding the OBD device much easier from eyesight. I would highly recommend this extension if you don't want the OBD gps tracker device to be seen easily.

My assistant's Honda CR-V was stolen last week before the 4th of July holiday. While I know that Honda's are the number one stolen car in the US, I wanted to make sure my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU wasn't part of that statistic. I had a GPS tracker that attached to the OBD2 port, but I couldn't see the value in paying $10.00/mo for it after 2 years of nothing ever happening to my Jeep. Then the Honda got stolen and I knew I had to reinstall the tracker. But I didn't want it obviously showing because any thief would see it right away and simply unplug it. Plus, when I shifted or when I was trying to bring my foot back in from the footrests, it would get in the way. I wanted a simple solution and this was it. Rather than a Y splitter, where there would be a cord with an OBD2 connector hanging down, this one had a pass through that slipped onto the existing OBD2 port and then a 2' flat ribbon wire with the other port. The ribbon wire was on the left side when I plugged in the splitter, which is where I wanted it. With my black interior, it can't be seen and was easily run up under the driver's kick panel. I used Velcro to secure the tracker in place and put electrical tape around the connector on the OBD2 port so it would stay on after repeated plugging or unplugging when using a reader. It works great and to top it off, the price of monitoring went down to $4.00/month. It should be noted that I use T-Mobile's sync-up and drive module and it does more than tracking. It notifies me when the Jeep is started, the speed at which it's driven, a mileage log for tracking business miles, car statistics like gallons of fuel, distance to empty, open recalls, etc.

this is a great way to add on an accessory such as a dash cam or a HUD without tying up the OBD port. The cable is long enough to allow you to route it up under somewhere hidden out of the way. I just took one star off because the cable is thick and doesn't bend easily, so if you need to route it in between some interior panels or feed it through a tight gap, you may have some trouble. It would be a lot better if the cable was a more standard round shape with loose tube conductors that allow for more flexibility, and if the remote end was end fed instead of side fed, as that would significantly improve the ability to route it through things in tight spaces.

Worked okay. Both cables connected scanner to ECU. Had bought because my old reliable Bluetooth obd was too tight a fit for my crv port. Appears old scanner crapped out. Wouldn't connect to torque pro app as it had past 8 years.

Works well. I used to to connect a gps tracker to the obd2 port and the cable length is enough to tuck in the tracker behind the dash.

I picked this up so I could tuck my Ring OBD tracker up under the dash and out of sight without losing access to the port. Mission accomplished. The splitter fits snugly, and both ports work exactly like they should. I used a couple of zip ties, a little creative positioning, and a bit of mild adult language to mount the tracker higher under the dash, where it’s hidden from curious thief eyes. Now the tracker stays out of sight while the main OBD port is still easy to access for scanners or other tools. For anyone wondering about compatibility, I’m using these in a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country, and they work perfectly in both. Simple little cable, but it solved the problem exactly how I hoped.

High quality product, very handy to have the extension port available for my AFM disabler while it still holds an empty port ready for a scan tool or other devices. Highly recommend it.
