I love this! I have lingering issues from a major whiplash injury from a car accident that occurred years ago. Causes pain, headaches, and vertigo...and I work on a computer all day This neck stretcher feels so good and has helped with headaches and pain. Recommend.

Springs can fall out, making it a poor design
I received this SoftSense Shell-shaped Cervical Traction Device and unboxed it. The first thing I noticed was how it was softer than the other one I have used for years, and the second thing was that it didn't match the picture (no springs). In addition to the cervical traction device, there are some basic instructions in the box. I was still looking for the springs and then I spotted what appeared to be one spring, but was actually two of them which were wound together. Once I got them apart I was able to easily place them as shown. The directions are not written by a native English speaker, so there are a few errors in the included instruction booklet, but it's still helpful. Illustrations, suggestions on usage time (no more than 30 minutes a day), and an explanation of using the device in the concave vs convex positions are good for new users. The "Attention" section should have been "Warnings", but my suggestion would be for all who use any of these devices to read the booklet and go slow when using it. There is a disclaimer that this is not a medical device, nor is it intended to treat any medical conditions. It doesn't promise to cure anything.Having used this product for a few days I can say it's good enough for daily use, but it has one big design flaw - the springs. I don't like that you have to add the springs yourself and that if you lose one or both, this product loses its usefulness. The springs are easily positioned - too easily - and can fall out of position. This isn't good and thus I rate this product as a 3-star, just OK.NOTE: If you plan on using a neck stretcher regularly, you may want to consider other options that are a single design. Be aware that they may be stiffer to the touch than this one, to hold their shape.
