HULL HUGR Modular EVA Fender, 20 x 8 x 2 in., Blue

If you own a boat (and you probably do if you are reading this review), you know how much boating products are overpriced. I paid around $20 for each of these and West Marine wants around $50 a piece. I used these for a season, they work great and still look brand new. I don't love their attachment system, but that is going to be boat specific anyway. I used a cheap D hook and paracord and size the lines to my boat and my rails. Best of all, they take up very little storage space in the boat, unlike the air filled fenders. These stay on the boat in a locker for when fishing is over and its time for happy hour.

Don't recommend unless you absolutely have to have a flat fender. Mind scuffed the gelcoat on my boat pretty badly. The problem is that they grab onto the dock and then rub against the boat, rather than riding with the boat or rolling against the dock. Multiply that up/down rubbing by the thousands of cycles that occur when your boat sits in a slip for a week between uses and you get a hazy, scuffed up section of gelcoat....exactly what I use fenders to try to avoid!

These look good are easy to use and store well BUT during a recent high wind night they were blown up into boat and didn’t hang down to protect the boat. Adding weights is possible but I’m going back to the old style and saving these for visitors .

Perfect for the dock posts in our Chanel. I put 2 on each post with very large zip ties. So much better than the bulbous fenders.

These bumpers work but don't hold a candle to the traditional bumper. I have since replaced these.

Nice wide pad that covers a large area for protection from dock rash.

Good product, but too small.

I love these bumpers. Flat so they don't roll or ride up. Flat so they store so easily. And soft so they don't scratch my hull or an adjacent hull. GREAT product.
