These small clipboards have been a great addition to my Pre-K classroom! They are the perfect size for my students' little hands when they are doing classroom activities, and they love the pencil holder! Great quality and great value for the money! Highly recommend!

I love the pen holder. It's why I chose these clipboards. When people pay enough attention to realize what it is, they comment on how neat or interesting it is. You'd be surprised how many people don't notice it even though they took the pen out of the holder to begin with.The cons: the clip only grips on the outer edges, so when customers try to clip money or their credit card to the clip board, they often don't actually clip it because instinct tells you to put what you're clipping in the middle, and it doesn't clamp there. It also means we have to clip receipts to one side and it's only held down by a very small area.One pen holder broke already because an employee tried to put in a pen that was too large and stretched out the spring.Overall I'm very happy to not have to tie a pen to my clipboard with an ugly string. I just wish the clip, clipped the entire way across

Everything works. The pens work well. The pen holder works well. The clip on the board holding the paper is first-rate. We're using these outdoors on an archery range to hold scoring cards, so they are getting exposed to some weather and they're knocked around a bit. And they're great. Bought the Pendaflex Portable File Box, Black, 11" H x 14" W x 6-1/2" D (41732) to carry the 12 clipboards and extra scorecards; it looks like a custom kit. LOL!

These little clipboards are quite handy. I bought them for our retail store and it's nice to have one right there when you need to use one. They are the perfect size for a baby legal pad and the spring loop that holds a pen or pencil is a wonderful idea. I'm an expert at misplacing things so the holder is just the thing!

Exceeded expectation. Superior build quality. Smooth on both sides. The pens even work! Do not know how long the pen holder will last, but the purpose is to hold memo pads. If the pen holder does not last, the old pen on string will work fine. It also keeps the pens from walking off.
