Replaced an older training collar with this one. It has the added feature of a virbrator (page) that stimulates the dog without any shock. It does not, however, have an audible cue, so you go from "vibrate" to "nick" to "variable shock". The control for stimulus level is handy and the controller can be operated with one-hand. It appears to go for a good long time before needing to be recharged. The signal range of up to 3/4 mile is a plus. They also make a model where you can manipulate two collars (dogs) from the same controller.

High price point, but 10/10 quality.

The product is very good. I use it now for 4 month . I have a big dog , who had to learn many things which is not possible with just goodies. From the beginning he was very aggressive with our employees. With this product he learned that he just can't act how he wants. He didnt like people when we walked on the beach, he learned very fast that he couldn't run to them and bark. Now we walk without a leash on the beach and he just ignores them. I tried the product first on myself, because I didnt want to make it too strong, that I would recommend to everybody who loves his dog.

I really resisted buying this collar because I hate the idea of shocking my dog. A friend at the dog park let me try his dog's collar on my girl, and I was happy to discover that the pager feature was all I really needed. I’ve been using my own collar now for about six months and am really pleased with how well it’s worked as a training aid. The pager feature vibrates at a level that is comparable to a smartphone on the vibrate setting. It’s just enough to get my dog’s attention, which is all she needs for basic obedience training. I’ve only had to use the shock option once, and it was to stop her from running after a wild animal at the park. In that event, it was necessary and effective. The shock feature does have a very wide range of settings, with the lowest being nothing more than a tingle, so this collar can be used on either the page or shock setting without causing any distress to the dog.I’m also very impressed with the quality of the collar. Yes, there are cheaper collars available, but I’m glad I sprung for this one. Maya wears hers to the dog park, where she wrestles with other dogs and gets it wet, dirty, and chewed on. It's holding up fine and looks like it will last for many years. The remote device is also well made and comes with both a lanyard and belt clip. Recharging is quick and easy. Maya wears her collar about an hour a day, and I plug it into the charger once a week.For those who have asked if it works on long haired dogs, yes, it does! Maya is a Samoyed, a double-coated breed with a very thick/long coat. I’ve included a photo of the collar on her. Even through all that hair, it works great. I really can't recommend this product enough. VERY pleased with my purchase.

I have been using Dogtras waterproof e collars for about 15 years. Never an issue with them and this set I just got is great quality as well. I buy a set when the pups are 9 months and ready to start their training and use the collars through the life of the dog. I have a set I been using for 13 years and still working great!!

We purchased this after our first couple of training sessions. We talked with our trainer on the best tools and this was what we picked. 95% of the time we have only used the vibration setting. Our GSD responds very well to that. I tested the shock portion out in my forearm and went to 30 before I could feel it. When it on our GSD we have it set to 24-30. This is a good tool to help train your dog.
