Looks great, easy to use, gentle smell, dries quickly
Dries quickly. Easy to apply.Unexpectedly pleasant scent. I get headaches from strong chemical smells but I had no issue with this one at all. This one kind of smelled like fruit candy, so watch small kids around it.I won’t know how effective it is until the wood has been subjected to weather (sun and rain) for a few months, but I’ll try to remember to update here once I know how it goes. I know what these beds look like with no weather protectant, so I should have a good gauge.Picture is the before and after of applying the sealant to the wood pieces for my raised garden bed. This is just the sealant, and no added colors. I think it makes the wood look richer and somehow more expensive. 😆Quick notes: gloves and glasses are a good idea (protect your skin and eyes from splatters), get a foam applicator for quick and smooth application, I used a paint tray to pour it in while I was working with it. If you don’t have a way to air dry the wood pieces off the ground, remember it will take twice as long as you think it will because you have to wait for at least one side to fully dry before you can seal the bottom side (the part resting on the ground).

Great product!
Love this product! Used it on raised garden beds. So very easy to use too. Let the wood dry. I wiped the wood down with a dry cloth to get off dust. Used sponge brushes. Applied 2 coats at first but decided it covers so well that we only needed one. It brings out the beautiful wood and smells good too. It takes time to dry but we just put the boards on saw horses and let the outside breeze dry them.

Makes it look refurbished
It does a great job. It is NOT sticky like some say, as long as you wipe it off as directed. I took a worn raised bed a neighbor was throwing away and turned in into a nice raised bed. My only concern was to follow directions of washing out the cloths I used. And I left everything outside away from anything combustible. But its no different than other stains that say the same thing. I love this stuff. I'm going to use it on a bench next to my garage as it has that very worn and weathered look now but it will look great once I ue the stain.

Good, but room for improvement.
I bought a quart of this stuff to seal a trio of new medium-large cedar planter boxes (I'm not planting directly in them, but growing large plants within grow pots, so it's not quite as exposed to moisture as a raised bed would be). It's too soon to tell how well it holds up to the elements, but overall the application was smooth and the finish came out quite nice. I didn't add any tint, so it really just highlights the grain of the wood a bit and gives it a more polished look. I did two coats and ended up with a few ounces of the product left over.Application was easy. If you've ever used Rubio Monocoat it's pretty similar to that. I wiped up the excess after each coat, as directed, and didn't have any stickiness once it was dry.I took off one star for a couple of reasons.1. The scent. Other folks had mentioned in their reviews that it's got a very strong smell. What I didn't realize is that the smell is, almost certainly, an additive. It's vaguely tropical, but also smells very artificial, like a gas station piña colada air freshener. I wouldn't call it offensive, exactly, but I really wish it wasn't in there. I'm guessing the main ingredient of this product is linseed oil or another drying oil, and I find their natural odors much more appealing than this. It's cloying, and a tiny bit of it on clothing will stink up a room. The boxes are now outside in the fresh air, a few days later, and they still stink like the bargain bin of a Bath and Body Works.2. There's a lot of marketing copy hyping this product, but none of it seems to include a meaningful description of the actual ingredients. Maybe there's an SDS somewhere, but I dislike that the manufacturer seems to be hiding the ball as to what's in it. Different finishes work differently, as anyone who's ever finished wood knows, and having more info prior to application would be a sign of respect for the customer, in my opinion. It'd also better tell me if what I'm buying is actually a good deal.Despite the above, I took a chance on this stuff because it seemed well reviewed, was competitively priced, and touted as low VOC nontoxic. I'm happy with the results, but I can't say I'd be terribly inspired to buy it again unless the manufacturer addressed the above concerns.

Good product.
The product went on easily and absorbed into the cedar quickly. Unfortunately, one container did not cover the entire 6’ X 2’ X 32” box. You may want to order 2 units for a large box. I do plan to order this product on an annual basis for good protection.

Plant Based and easy to use
I purchased this production due to it being plant based and used it on my raised garden box. This product penetrates into the wood sealing it fast, within 24 hours, it was dry and ready to use. The smell of the product isn't overpowering like other stains either.

Good but not great. Water sealant properties leave something to be desired
Ok overall, but will be looking elsewhere due to poor water proofing performance. For the price and what it's supposed to do, this worked ok. Applied two coats as directed on the bottle, but about a week later during the first rain I was surprised to see that the water beads weren't pooling up like they'd done with other products (mostly Thompson's I'd used in the past). Ultimately, the wood on my garden raised beds and picnic table was protected from water better than using nothing at all, but not as good as the marketing hype would make you believe. The water's definitely penetrating what could be thought of as the first 'layer' of the wood. Re-reading other reviews I notice none really mention the actual water protection, welp lesson learned for me.
