Needed a new piece & this is exactly the same in brand new condition!

Arrived relatively quick and quality is superb.

I should have read the reviews before I bought this so that I would have known that this is not exactly like the original floor tool that came with my G5 Kirby. I don't like surprises. I have attached a photo (this item is on the left, the original G5 floor tool is on the right). The original has a brush that extends the entire length of the tool; this new item only has brushes on the far right and left sides of it. The hole in the middle of this item is larger than on the original. Some say that the new tool is good because it sucks things up instead of clogging a full-length brush that needs to be cleaned frequently; others say that it does not pick up as much pet hair because it is missing half of the brush. I find that the new tool seems to work as well as the old one - thus far. I was skeptical at first because I vacuum a lot of dog hair with this tool and I am accustomed to seeing results by the amount of hair caught in the brushes! I find that I can also connect this to the end of my ShopVac wand to clean out my rental property (dirt, sand, seaweed) and it works nicely for that.

I don't like that you can't clean the wheels easy. It will work I guess for the money
