The only downside is the lid was difficult to get to attach and stay attached. Once I was able to get it to stay, we put some bath sand in it for our dwarf hamster and put it in his enclosure. He loved digging and rolling around in it. The hamster shape was cute and made for a visually whimsical enclosure.

Cute little tub. My hedgehog is too big to fit thru the top hole so leaving the top off and just use the tub part. It should fit a smaller animal like a hamster thou. I have been using this as a litter box for him and it's working well. The tub is easy to clean. Being clear makes it easy to see when it needs a clean or litter change. Without the top its easier for the litter to spill out . Overall its a good deal and nice to have.

Hammy loves it not just to take a sand bath but also hang out inside of this container.

This is perfect for a dwarf hamster. If you have a Syrian you will need something larger.

I love this bathtub, it holds a good amount of sand. Our hamster can roll over and play in the bathtub without the sand spilling out. It is also easy to clean. I highly recommend it!!

Bought this for my 8yr old daughters hamster, hoping the hamster uses it like a litterbox. Unfortunately, all it did was chewed through the plastic instead and got litter sand everywhere outside the container. Total failed investment. ;-(
