it's fun, well made
This game is very similar to the game "Guillotine", it's fun, well made, fun art and theme. But I feel like the maniac cards could have more variety. The game seems to just pass by after a play or two. Also, you may want to adjust the rules a bit for your liking, like for a two player game, I made the group 13 people instead of 12 so that there is a better chance of the other player getting to the final girl at the end of a movie. Another thing is I put any survivors at the end of the group instead of the beginning of the sequel, because if it happens to be the final girl, the chances of being to kill her are very slim. Also I changed that between movies/sequels, we take what's in our hands and shuffle it into the deck and re-deal to make it interesting and different for each play.

I wouldn’t recommend
This game is a bit pricey for what you get. The rules are horribly written/confusing. The game itself is interesting but a bit too simplistic and there are a couple of things I didn’t like at all.1) You automatically kill victims on your turn, meaning there is no challenge.2) the randomness of card draws/plot twists can screw over any strategy making it a game of chance3) there is almost no interaction between players in that you can’t play cards on an opponent’s turn to fool his plan. The most you can do is rearrange the victim order or keep another player from playing a card on his turn.I’ve played it a couple of times now and wish I hadn’t spent money on it. Cool concept but bad execution.

Fun and funny homage
Fun and funny little game with lots of personality and appropriate slasher flick tropes. Would have liked a little more combos and/or strategy to give it more depth and replay ability but it's great filler between other bigger games for your game nights.

I was disappointed with quality of artwork
I was disappointed with quality of artwork, content, and the game itself. After recently becoming enamored with card games, I stumbled upon YATM on Kickstarter, and thought the game was worth checking out. However, after opening the admittedly awesome VHS cover to the game, I was disappointed with nearly every aspect of the game. The artwork is pretty awful, the copy is tasteless (Bimbo, Rick the Dick, etc.), and the rules are difficult to understand.I can't pull myself to try to play with others. I honestly feel dumb for spending $25 on this.
