INSTYLE Magazine Kindle Edition

Wow, what a plummet! I was a subscriber from the very first issue until now (decades!)Now it isn't worth the paper it's printed on. (Save those trees!)Useless, irrelevant to my life. Not because I no longer care about fashion, or even (and I'm not ashamed enough to admit it) celebrity news, but because like virtually every other fashion magazine today, it has adopted a social/political agenda way outside of its original lane. I subscribed to these glossies for sheer escape and harmless enjoyment, but now I have to be preached to on every page about issues I bone up on in more legitimately newsworthy periodicals. AND there's no diversity of viewpoint in any of these formerly nonpolitical magazines, to boot! So, good riddance!I don't care what fashion magazines and their celebrity spokespeople think of politics and the burning issues of the day! I never subscribed to them for that, and I never will!P.S. Needless to say, I have also unsubscribed to Vogue, Marie Claire, W, Harper's Bazaar, and others all for the same reason. I have unsubscribed to In Style, but they keep sending me issues anyway. Screw it! Keep the remaining issues and give them to someone who really cares!P.S.S. I gave this magazine one star only because they wouldn't let me submit this review without it! Ugh!

Bring back the old instyle. I don’t like the new format. It’s just another bland magazine like all the rest. Why did you change a good thing ?

This magazine is horrible. A shadow of its former self. This magazine housed to be bright, colorful, full of great products and clothes and half an inch to inch thick. It's like comic book size now, the covers are more dramatic "moody" with actors. It's just not the same and it's no wonder they were offering $5 before the holidays. I have literally thrown away an issue before even reading. I may even cancel a $5 subscription just so I dont have to deal with getting it in the mail.

I’ve been a loyal reader since InStyle began (26 years ago); until I read “Who Showed Up” about women who “have given us comfort during COVID,” (Nov 2020 issue). Every single one of the women featured are liberals, almost all expressly endorsing Biden; not one conservative woman was chosen. Shame on you for featuring one-sided politics on your pages. I subscribed for style/fashion, are you insinuating that conservative views are not in style?This magazine used to be one of my favorites but it has gone downhill since a decade ago. This article is the last straw, because of this I won’t renew my subscription. That’ll give me more time to read quality magazines or books instead of this garbage.Good riddance!

I have subscribed to In Style for decades. Through the good times and bad years. I had let my subscription end for awhile when I found myself not reading it when I received it. Then I gave it another chance and found it refreshing and interesting again, new editor was the reason. I knew something was different. Wish Laura Brown would think of the women who are reading this magazine. They are of all ages and incomes. Just sayin.

I used to really enjoy this magazine. Unfortunately, it has very little to offer anymore. It's just a bunch of blogger articles now.

This magazine has outlived itself. This is dull and irrelevant. Now embarrassing itself with wokeness.

I subscribed to this magazine for many years but it's not the same magazine. After spending a few minutes thumbing through the pages I found that it's way to political for me to waste money on ! I also noticed that it is catering to certain races, not all races. Shame on them ! For every Caucasian model there are 4 brown or black models. The articles are also prejudice toward your average heterosexual person. So if Instyle wants to appeal to the minority instead of everyone let them. it will sooner than later be their doom.
