CONTOUR NEXT Blood Glucose Test Strips, 50 Count

There was a supply shortage locally for these test strips so the stores decided to jack up the price. I ordered these from Amazon instead and it was a much better value. Expiration dates are good, and calibration testing showed that the strips are accurate.

Medicare will only allow me to use the strip once a day. There are times when I have to recheck my blood glucose a few time a day. Having extra strips, I am comfortable re checking my blood glucose anytime.

Research shows Contour Meter/Strips gives more accurate results. I had used several different meters, and always bring them to my doctor appointments, and Contour always matches my results from the doctor.

Easy to use, accurate, great price. I highly recommend using Contour Next, especially to check morning blood glucose, before meals, and one hour after taking the last bite of meals to see how eating certain foods affects your blood sugar. Cutting down on carbs big time and monitoring your blood glucose numbers will help you tremendously in your battle to beat the betes.

When I read the reviews on some of the other offerings, I saw that some non Bayer products were inaccurate. So, I made sure to buy one that said Bayer on the label. Or, at least I thought I did. They were not. I feel scammed. I have no idea of the accuracy of these strips. If I don't know they're accurate, why even use them?Unfortunately, I bought these just before leaving town, so I no longer have the box along to return them.

I have three different machines to check my blood sugar. They all give different readings with a range of 15-20 points difference. I am not sure which one is right.

Reasonable price, accuracy and easy to use means I will buy these again.

Needed diabetic testing supplies. We live in the mountains 30 mins from pharmacy, so this was a convenient option. Didn't arrive in timeframe promised, so had 1 day without needed supplies even though ordered well in advance. Product good though.
