I recommend these boots, but I also recommend that you try them on before you buy them.I have a pair of TR350 Khyber II boots that are tan, and they are perfect. The first pair I bought had a seam that rubbed against my malleolus (the bones that stick out the side of your ankle), but I went back and tried on a different pair that had no problems at all. There is just enough manufacturing variation to make a significant difference between one pair and another. Once you find the right pair, though, they are comfortable enough to wear on long road marches, but secure and supportive enough to climb steep, loose hills while carrying all your gear.When I needed a new pair, I ordered the TR550 Khyber boots. Belleville said they were essentially the same, just in coyote brown instead of tan. There are some minor differences between the two. The TR550s are just a little bit taller, and the cut is just slightly different, but they otherwise seem like the same boot. However, I have the same problem as I had with my first set of Khyber IIs; the leather seam of the lace supports falls directly against my ankle bones. This is very painful!They broke in relatively quickly and now they're another great pair of boots. But if you have the chance, try these on in a store so you can find the pair that best fits your feet and ankles.

I have wore Bellville boots exclusively for over 20 years and these seem to hold up to the standard so far. Ive had these for over a week and they are very comfortable and seem durable. I dislike that they are made in China and will likely not buy another pair because of that alone. I saved 100 dollars over the Marine Corp issue that have served me so well for so long so that is a plus but it is the only plus with these boots. They seem to be Bellville quality threwout so far.

So far great boots, but i did have to return them twice, to narrow down my boot size. Every other pair of boots I wear is a 10.5. This pair i wear a 9.5! Sounds crazy, but yes go down an entire size off your regular boots. The other boots I wore a 10.5 in consist of, solomans, rockies, Merrells and and all running shoes.

I have wide feet and usually experience pain when on my ferry all day because of poorly designed boots. These ones are the best I've tried so far. They have a nice wide toe box with a good sturdy sole. This is my second pair of this model boot. First pair lasted over year of daily heavy use.

Awesome fit, tread, asthetics, and all day comfort. By far my favorite boot.2/3/2022: boots are still kicking it. I’ve mended a slight tear and replaced the insoles a 1/2 dozen times, scrubbed them countless times, abused them like a stolen go-cart and they just amaze with comfort.
