Before moving to Georgia I had to use a curling iron but, either due to age or the high humidity, it seems that my fine hair has decided to embrace it’s natural waviness! I work from home and really don’t do much with my hair; I tend to wash it at night and let it air dry while I sleep.I do keep a little old hair dryer on hand so I can dry my roots to add volume but I’ve never used this style before. Here are my overall thoughts:1. I’m used to having buttons, and a “cool shot,” but I do like that you can’t accidentally change the setting. Conversely, I tend to alternate between high/low and cool which I can’t do on the fly with this tool.2. I found the size/weight awkward for me; if it was my only option I’m sure I’d get used to it but it just seems to big and bulky for what I need. Maybe it’s because I’m petite and older (4’11”, 53yo)?3. The brush bristles are also pretty hard - that’s probably a good thing for those with thicker/coarser hair but for my tender little head it wasn’t very comfortable, LOL.At the end of the day, this just isn’t a good fit for me since you can’t really use it just to add volume at the roots (which is how I normally use it). This feels a bit pricey ($36.99 at the time I ordered it for review) but I’m not really the intended demographic so take my opinion with a grain of salt.I’m happy to have had the chance to try it out and share my thoughts; I’m giving it a 4 because of the hard bristles and the awkwardness.Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

I like how easy it is to use. Takes no time to dry my hair (I'm African America) when I part my hair in 4 sections and dry each section. I LOVE IT!!! 😃❤️

Super easy to use, quite and perfect for my thick 4c hair.

The size is not made for women sized hands. This item is huge which makes it bulky awkward when using.

I have 3A curl type. This hair dryer does the job quickly and makes it easy to flat iron my hair.

This is an excellent product and easy to use.
