Lovely selection, all very good quality! :)
What a lovely selection of spices in this box! Each seasoning sachet is sufficient to make a single meal, and hence you could expect to make a total of 12 meals with this box. I find this exciting as it means you can try out 12 different meals, from different countries and cultures. And the best part? The seasoning is perfect every single time. There’s no need to bulk up on jars of seasoning or spices, nor is there need to spend ages mixing them together. Everything is done for you, all you need to do is rip open the sachet and pour into your meal when cooking.I made a really delicious chicken curry with the curry spice sachet. This was my first time making a curry and it couldn’t be easier! There wasn’t any need to buy 5 different seasoning spices, everything was pre mixed to perfection in the sachet already. Speaking of which, they look very aesthetically pleasing and nicely designed with illustrations on the surface. Very good quality ingredients and overall 5 stars!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Nice flavor
This box contains 10 sachets seasonings with 10 different flavors. I have tried most of them, they all go very nicely. Easy to use, just sprinkle on food like salt and pepper, it’s an easy way to make the meal stand out.£12.99 for 10 small sachets is a bit pricey but very nice flavors, would recommend.

Good spice blends, but overpriced and not guaranteed to be Vegan
Just Spices offer some really good spice blends and this sampler pack provides sachets of some of their best for you to try out before purchasing your favourites as pots. The only trouble is that for the quantity of spices, this sampler pack seems very expensive, making it rather poor value-for-money. It does make a good gift though, especially for those getting used to cooking like students.A niggle that I have with Just Spices though is that their spice blends cannot be called Vegan (even though you would have thought that ought to be straightforward), and they cannot guarantee that they are free from Egg.Additionally, some of the spice blends seem a bit generic like the one for chicken dishes, which seems to much like a BBQ seasoning and a one-blend-fits-all mix of spices and herbs.

Ehh
I dunno. I didn't love this, and it looked so promising.First, the box it arrived in looked a bit beaten and battered with crumpled corners and bends in the card. I know that's just a minor aesthetic issue, but it was a bad first impression. The box then contains 10 different sachets of spices. Those flavours are:~ avocado~ bolognese seasoning~ chicken seasoning~ curry (madras)~ egg topping~ Italian flavour~ meat seasoning~ pizza topping~ roast potato seasoning~ a general sweet flavourEach packet has a different line drawing of a person which is nice - the branding is definitely interesting. The flavours are nice, too - so far we've tried the avocado, pizza and the Italian. The Italian was pretty much just oregano, and the pizza one was similar, but the avocado was seeds, and possibly some garlic, and it was very nice.I think the problem, really, is the price considering the small amount you get. This would probably be a fun thing to give to someone as a gift if they like to cook but then I'd worry about the presentation. I'd hate knowing I'd sent this to someone and it arrived looking beaten up.It really is just too expensive, and from the seasonings we've tried, they don't really do an awful lot to set themselves apart from other spice mixes I've tried. But it's definitely fun, and if you do like to cook and you want to experiment a bit, this could be a nice wee gift, even to self.

Bring Your Ideas
Cooking is a lot about confidence, and I don't have much. I am great at following a recipe but give me a pile of ingredients and tell me to cook and I will struggle. The same can be said about herbs and spices, unless told specifically I don't know what to add to what and how much. This 'Just Spices Discovery Box' seems to think it is self-explanatory, but I struggled. This is a pack for someone who likes to cook and knows what they are doing. Some are obvious like adding spice to mince for bolognaise (but at what point and for how long). The price for the spices is quite a lot, but the hip design would make it a nice gift for foodies. This was not for me and many of the packs will probably go unused, but I imagine that people who like to be led by what they have in their cupboard will get 12 varied meals flavoured.

Starter kit
This is a starter kit for spice and they are all-natural with no additives. The idea is that these will tempt you to join their spice 'club' and buy their larger spice pots. You get ten little sachets - all different and they vary from sweet ones through to ones for avocado, egg, chicken, potato etc.I think that £12.99 is quite expensive for ten spice sachets and nice as they are I am not convinced I would buy these in future as I am more than capable of mixing my own spices and can get them much cheaper from our local shops. It's a nice idea and one that would be a great gift to give to a student setting off to uni or someone leaving home for the first time.

nice for someone who is starting to get into cooking
This is a nice little gift set of mixed spices for trying different meals. You get 10 packs and you can sprinkle them on food to make it taste differently. They all taste nice. This is basically a sampler pack to try their different options in the bigger packs
