These are good sharp clippers, good design makes it easy and effortless to clip out cats claws. The handles feel nice to hold, you can get a good grip on them. Very happy with them.Bought these for our two cats as their claws get very long and sharp very quickly. We get the vets to clip them for us every time they go in for their booster vaccinations (every 6 months) but that’s not frequently enough for us.Both of our cats claws grow very sharp, possibly because they’re indoor cats, and they keep putting holes and pulls in out clothes, and pulling at the carpet. So we needed to cut they more frequently ourselves at home. We tried one of those standard nail clippers for people, but it was too difficult getting it to align with the tip of the claws, then the cat started to get restless and frustrated making is almost impossible.This nail clipper is perfect. The large opening and the space around the clippers makes it easy to put the claw in and just cut just the very end off. The curved design of the cutting part seems to hold the claw in place to stop it from sliding in further or sliding out. Cutting the claw is very easy as they are fairly sharp and slide over each other very close. We managed to cut all their front and back claws easily within a minute or two, and the cat didn’t even seem to notice what was happening.A very effortless and painless method for claw trimming, even works great on the larger back foot claws.

Work really well, but it would be alot better if it came with instructions. I know i can search and watch things myself but would of been nice for a guide on how to use these clippers.They do work really well. I use them for my labradors. I am abit nervous doing it but we managed. They cut really well. I recommend watching a youtube vid to get the best technique.

Perfect, before I purchased these clippers, I had taken my dog to the vets to have his claws clipped. They managed to cut the back ones but could not cope with the front claws. I was able to do them in five minutes saving another trip to the vets ith all the costs that this entails.

These LAIKA Dog Nail Clippers have done me proud whilst in lockdown. The dogs are now trimmed to perfection, ready and waiting for when we can all be let out to run around the fields again.Added bonus of the LAIKA Dog Nail Clippers; i have managed to tackle the wife's trotters with complete success! The only other procedure to return the same results was an industrial Makita 9" angle grinder and a very abrasive cutting disc.Money well spent...

These have lasted longer than any other clippers which means the world to me being a professional dog groomer I’ve been through 5 in space of three months and all a lot more expensive than these

I'm really impressed with these, especially for the value of money! They are heavier than I expected which I like as it makes them easier to handle, I can imagine if they were light they would easily slip out of your hand. The grip on the handles is good and so is the guard on the actual clipper so you don't cut too far at once. Nice added bonus with the file although my puppy isn't patient enough to let me use it yet. Overall really happy with them and would definitely recommend.

I'm sure these are great for dogs but suggesting they are suitable for other animals is silly - please change this description. They are sturdy but they're not sharp.Please anyone reading this; DO NOT buy for your cat.They just crunched through her nails slowly leaving brittle ends and vocally unhappy. As a quick fix until I buy more bunny cutters (I lost them and used them on her before fine) I used normal human nail clippers which did a better job and didn't see her crying out as much :(
