I read reviews on every possibly dog car seat for large dogs and this one seemed to be the best. So far I love it! What I like best is the zipper that comes down for the dog to jump in. It fits my 62 lb golden retriever mix perfectly. On the other hand, my 80 lb lab mix is too big for it. I only bought one because I had a feeling he wouldn’t fit, but it’s okay. He can sit, but can’t lay because he’s too big. Perfect for my other smaller dog though. Now I will feel safe driving with my dog as she is contained. Seems like a good product so far.

We bought this because my puppy wasn’t doing well in the car. She was very anxious despite wearing a seat belt to prevent her from sliding around. We used this for an 8 hour trip to Maine. My pup learned on her own to go in the crate and make herself comfortable. We placed blankets from her home crate and she did very well. This crate also creates more room for her than the seat alone offers. I recommend this product to my friends.

Traveling across country with 3 dogs. Hard to find ways to secure and separate larger dog (55lbs) in small backseat that needs to be shared with 2 smaller dogs and still allow ability to lie down. The bed doesn’t take up as much length of the seat as other car dog seats since it secures to headrest so you have more backseat room. This is perfect, easy to install and allows access to storing things on the floor. Zipper allows easy in/out. Would put a blanket or something soft inside for comfort. Only concern is the zipper sides are a bit flimsy so unsure how it will hold up if you have an energetic dog that tries to get out. large dogs would probably fit sitting but not be able to lie down.

I’ve purchased at least 5 different car covers for my pup and each one was not great in some little way. This one is literally perfect and checks all the boxes! 1. Love the extra length over the footwell to give pup more space and reinforced bottom to support it. 2. Panels are high enough on ALL sides, not just the sides protecting the seat. 3. Side panels are mesh so pup can get air flow on hot days. 4. Side panels have a bar on top so the panel stays taut and doesn’t slack. This also allows the two fastener clips to be sufficient in holding up the cover (other car seats for half the backseat have multiple straps). 5. Seat anchor. 6. Non slip bottom. 7. Zipper for easy access (ok, this is the one thing that could be better - have zipper on both sides of the flap so the entire flap can go down vs just one side of the flap but this is minor). We’ll see how it holds up over time but it seems to be well made.

I like the zippers on both sides. It’s easy to get him in and out. My puppy is 24 lbs. and about 17” talk right now and still growing. He has a lot of room to grow so this might be a keeper. He was a tad nervous at first but I gave him a few treats after I put him in and took him only around the block the first time. He barked but I rolled the window down a few inches and the outdoor air intrigued him and quieted him. The next day I took him to the pet store and on the way home he took a nap. Next day, a trip to CVS, and fell asleep. I recommend letting him have plenty of exercise before the car trip and not overdoing it. I’m glad I got this as he was getting too big for my lap and it was a hazard. 🤣🦮 I recommend this car seat.
