Equate Extra Strength Stool Softener, 250mg, 140ct (2 Pack)

I was nervous to use anything like this. I imagined all the horrible possibilities in the beginning. None of them happened! Life simply returned to normal .They are very easy to swallow without much noticeable flavor. They were a great price and had a long expiration date. I truely have nothing negative to day about this product.

I'm 87 and my colon hasn't been working for quite some time. I take one of these in the morning and one at night, plus 2 SennaS at the same time. That plus being sure to drink enough water to stay hydrated more of less keeps me from being constipated. The times this combination doesn't seem to be working I use Equate ClearLax. the MiraLax substitute.Lately I have noticed that there is a bitter taste as soon as I put one of these stool softeners in my mouth. This has not always been the case and don't know why now. But keeping the bottle in the refrigerator and swallowing it with water as soon as I take it from the bottle has helped a lot.Since I am using a combination of things, I don't know how much credit to give this product for whatever success I have. Probably somewhere in the 3.5-4 star range.
