This well made item has a little of everything on it, with the option to add a couple of personalised photos too. The emphasis being on 'a little' of everything. Some fidget mats are filled with so many different things, that in my opinion, it is just too much for an elderly person who's mind is tired and struggling to comprehend life in general. This mat is spot on - soft touches, hard touches, cold feeling items, fluffy comforting items, rings to fidget with, fabric to shiffle, a zip which is easy to pull up and down - gives an auditory sensory & a repetitive action. A little crinkly cushion that gives another auditory sensory. Can be laid on the top of someone who is bed bound, or in a lap, or on a table. A family member has Alzheimer's, late stage - this is perfect when there is nothing left to do other than screw up bedding & sleep.....a fidget mat will at least give some options that would otherwise not be available and this mat is spot on. Well done to the designer. Presented in nice box.

This figet blanket is a great activity for people with dementia it keeps them happy exploring all the different textures the colours are inviting and it's easy to store10 out of 10 would recommend you try it for your loved one.

I gifted a very similar fidget blanket to a friend who mine who grandmother is suffering from dementia so when this fidget blanket was a available on Vine I jumped at the chance to order it and gift this one too.The blanket is used to help with anxiety and gives my friends grandmother something to distract, engage and focus on.The blanket comes presented in a lovely box and is made and stitched very well and has many textures such as buckles, ties, fur, zips and pockets to evoke her senses and keep her mind occupied. You can personalise the blanket too by placing a photo in the see through pocket which is a fantastic feature.My friends grandmother has been resting it on her lap and has been using it frequently in conjunction with the other blanket gifted which I’m so pleased with. After she’s done with it, it’s easy enough to fold and store away.It can be stressful not only for the person suffering from dementia but their loved ones too so by no means is this blanket a cure however it gives loved ones who are caring for the sufferer a little bit of rest bite even for a short period.At the current price of £31.99 it’s good value for money and my friend recommends it.

The product is well made and as described but the User guide was missing from the package. The Chat help section on Amazon was useless so I will have to try and contact the Manufacturer to obtain the guide. A surprising omission given the overall quality of the packaging.
