I have been doing my own laundry since I was 13 years old, and that was almost half a century ago. I have used top loaders, front loaders, and some with no agitators -- you name it. I have used just about every detergent out there. I presently have a Maytag front loader. I was advised to use liquid or pods. I tried several liquids, but as an old powder user, I didn't like the mess and the residue in the dispenser and on my clothes. I tried several pods, but I often found the pod melted and adhered to the clothes that came out of the dryer because it didn't dissolve (I would only use one pod). I wanted to give one more pod a try. I used to use Purex powder, which was always a good value and great product. These Purex pods always dissolve. I have been using them for two weeks, and I have yet to find one melted in my clothes. I only need one per wash; they have no suds, which might fool you. The best part is they clean better than any other detergent I have used. I often get landscaping stains (for lack of a better term) on my white T-shirts because I like to do yard work on the weekends. No other detergent, not even the leading brand, could get the stains completely out of the shirts, so I had a pile of clean but stained shirts just for the yardwork. As an experiment, I wore a new shirt today. I washed it with the rest of the whites and one pod (I find one pod works fine). The stains were completely gone. I couldn't even tell which shirt was the one I wore to do the yard work, and this included dirt and grease from my garden hose, grass stains, dirty water from flower pots, etc. All the shirts were white and clean. I also never use bleach. Even the leading brand couldn't get them this clean. There is hardly a scent at all with these, which is fine with me, since I am not one for perfumy detergents. I am glad I tried these. They are the best.

I don’t like powder detergent. We’ve been having problems with our rotten cats knocking the liquid detergent off the counter and spilling it all over the floor. Jerks. Anyway, these laundry pods are a terrific solution. A single pod cleans a full load of laundry well. The pods dissolve great and we haven’t had any issues with partially dissolved pods. The price is right too, with six people in our household we wash a lot of laundry and these are more affordable than other brands’ pods. Would recommend.

I haven’t used pod’s previously until Persil. I bought the liquid to try it. My last laundry room only had cold water for the washer. Persil was amazing. It cleaned my clothes and revived them. I have a new laundry room and have hot water as well now. The pods are clean efficient and the fragrance is clean and fresh. I use two pods on occasion. On Amazon week I grabbed a few deals and got the 100 pack for $20. Wow! At the regular price it is still a lot less expensive than at the grocery stores. I don’t use fabric softener any longer, just the pet dryer sheets by Bounce and the wool dryer balls. Our clothes are soft, no hair and they smell great. I tell all my clients to try Persil. Buying from Amazon makes it affordable to have great products for clothing care.

I have always been a fan of purex because of the great scent and how clean it gets my clothes, but I have a terrible habit of over pouring the liquid detergent. These pads are great because I'm not tempted to put too much in. One pod is plenty for a large load of clothes. I start the water, put in the pod and wait until it bursts. Then, I give the water a good stir, add in the clothes and let it do its magic! If the load is a big bulky or larger, I do use two pods. For the price and how many you get, the value is AMAZING compared to the leading competitor prices for pods.
