PSC-4100 Deluxe Leather Case

I can't imagine what the other two reviewers are talking about but I have a Canon SX30IS and this case fits it just fine. The case is made by Canon and it states right on the packaging "Made for PowerShot SX30IS, SX20IS, SX10IS & SX1IS". The only thing I can think of is they're confusing this with the PSC-4000 which fits some of those other models but not the SX30IS. Note that it's a camera CASE not a camera BAG. It holds and protects the camera, and that's it. It has no compartments for accessories, etc. Basically, what you see in the photo is what you get.I'm deducting one star because it's a little clumsy to operate. An old fashioned flip-down front would have been much nicer.

I purchased this case to use with a Canon PowerShot SX40. Although it is not a custom fit, it is a very good fit and works well for the reason it was purchased. I wanted a case that would protect my camera when it was in my airline carry-on tote but would not add a lot of bulk or weight.I received this item in less time than projected which was a great relief since I was leaving for a trip in about a week.

This case does it's job of protecting the camera. It is a little awkward putting the camera in it after use. It uses velcro to close and does not leave any room for anything but the camera. I wouldn't really consider it anything but a protector for the camera. If that's why your purchasing it then it will serve it's purpose. If you're looking for a carrying case that will also hold camera accessories you might want to continue shopping.

Does a good job of protecting the camera but is awkward to try to use the camera without completly removing the case. Not the best design for quickly shooting a picture since it is rather difficult to release the velcro and free up the camera in hurry.

I'm using this for a Canon Powershot S5 IS and it holds the camera very well.

Rather snug fit for the camera to the point I wonder if it was really meant for my camera. The labeling on the packaging says it is, but you must have to be a magician to get this to work the way I feel a camera case should. I should have returned, but didn't so my mistake. But as God is my witness - I don't think this camera case is the right one. I need to go back and read other reviews to see if my criticism is warranted.EDITED REVIEWOh my goodness. I just assumed buying a Canon product for a Canon camera that it would fit. I blindly ordered. Now I read all the reviews on AMAZON and see how many others have complained about exactly the SAME thing. This camera case does not fit the cameras it is intended to fit.Is AMAZON sure they are selling a CANON product or not some clever counterfeit that has fooled them with the packaging, etc.This case DOES NOT FIT MY CAMERA... I went online and requested to return the item and was immediately provided the information to do so including a pre-printed UPS sticker to affix to the packaging. Within a few days, my item was received by Amazon and my credit card was credited with the full amount of my purchase.Good end to a sad story - Canon is selling a case that DOES NOT fit their own cameras. Read the reviews carefully and see how many people say the EXACT same thing as I have about this camera case.

Well made, fit finish is up to Canon standards. Would buy again. A bit expensive if not on sale

I purchased this camera case with my camera at the same time, and I found it fit my powershot sx30 is prefectly. It took me a while to get use to use it but now, it protects my camera prefectly.

Fully met expectations!
