Loved It!
I really enjoyed the story and all of the characters introduced so far. I was happy with the world building and how it was written into the story without slowing things down or stopping the narrative. There were also so many moments throughout the book that caught my attention, hinting at past events or foreshadowing future ones, and has me looking forward to the next book to see those things being elaborated on.The only thing that threw me off at first was the pacing with all the POV changes. Each chapter was from a different siblings POV and while I do like that the perspective of all three MCs is shown relatively equally; it took me a few chapters to really get into the story. Each of the siblings had interesting personalities and motivations throughout and their interactions with others were never dull. I really enjoyed their different experiences within the same story.Overall Lost Stars was a great introduction to the world of Wicked Academia and a solid set up for some amazing adventures following Timothée, Marion and Vivian in the books to follow.

Fantasy Lovers, Come Read This Book!
I read the ARC version, and now I am giving an honest review! I love the world building! The authors pay close attention to detail to allow you to fully immerse yourself into the world, especially the Celestial Academy for Fallen Stars! I also love how each of the three siblings have distinct personalities. Each character is so different, but you can see the immense love for each other. Since it is the first book, I do expect the character development will come later! The accompanying love interests for the triplets are also well done! Many times, I see the same kind of love interest with just a different plot. However, in Wicked Academia, each love interest is beautifully written and different from normal book love interests!Plus, ARTWORK IS INCLUDED! Nowadays, adult and YA books don't include illustrations which is unfortunate because pictures are not only for kids. Wicked Academia has beautifully crafted art scenes that allow readers to fully immerse themselves within the reading experience. Now, I do find the progression of the story slow. I know the story takes pace over 3 days, but it felt so much longer than that. I felt some scenes were dragged out too long and the plot really didn't hit its high point until towards the end of the book. I do kind of like my books to be a little more fast paced, but I do have high hopes the sequel will be more action packed since the ending of the first book is really exciting! Lastly, I do hope to see more POC characters in the book because representation of everyone is always beautiful and impacts readers. All in all, a wonderful read :)

Incredible
“We are on the edge of an adventure. Isn’t it exciting?”Y’all, Wicked Academia: Lost Stars is such an incredible story. Let’s just say this new adult fantasy book has everything you could want in a fantasy story: seemingly ordinary triplets who end up being anything but ordinary, a university that exists on an island that floats in the sky, romance, multiple POVs, whimsy, wondrous star magic, adventure, descendants of the gods, dark secrets, vampires, and the story has beautiful illustrations throughout the chapters. I don’t want to give anything away, but you absolutely need to read this book if any part of that sounds like something you would enjoy. Fair warning, this first book ends on a massive cliffhanger. Like I threw my kindle down while screaming “NO” kind of cliffhanger. Luckily, the second book has a release date later this year in August. I rated this first book 4/5 stars! I am absolutely OBSESSED.I cannot wait for more Khalid scenes in the next book. He is of course who I quoted for this post. Ugh love him!

This was one I couldn't put down!
"A thousand thoughts and memories and feelings flashed in his green eyes. 'The world is not enough'."In a world of gods, magic, vampires, and stars with powers, the orphaned Greywick triplets discover their lives aren't what they perceived them to be. In searching for the truth, Marion, Vivian, and Timotheé must stick together and discover what they are all capable of.I personally resonated with Marion the most. She's the "oldest" of her siblings and feels responsible for taking care of them. She puts everyone else's needs before her own, but now everything has changed. It was little tricky navigating the world building and the history of it, but it's referred to often enough that I finally got it. AND the maps helped! The authors included some slow-burn romances that flowed well with the story line. I couldn't stop reading this! Every time I thought I was getting to a lull in the story, it twisted into something else and I had to find out what happened next. The authors set the ending up nicely for the sequel.Fans of the Crave or Harry Potter series would definitely enjoy this book! Definitely a new adult book for readers 18+.

Love Love Love Love Love
When I started this, I was unsure how I felt. I thought it was reminiscent of some YA that I had loved when I was younger, but had outgrown. I. Was. Wrong. This book had those elements that I loved from YA fantasy, but there was something extra special about this book. It does explore some adult themes without going too deep into them. It felt lighthearted for the most part, but set up the rest of the series to dive deeper. I found myself so absorbed into the book while I was reading that when I reached the end suddenly, I was so upset there wasn’t more for me to read! Thankfully the sequel is coming in August!

Childish and not as promised
So I hardly write about a book after I read it, but here I feel the need to do it it. This book promises a lot. A adult version of Hogwarts? Count me in. Spice like Sarah J. Maas and JLA? Yes please. 18+? Yayyyy!! What you get are characters that are so shallow, it borders on neglect on the authors part. The chapters are short, rushed, the dialogs not worth mentioning and the relationships between the characters are really not authentic. Love/Lust on first sight around every corner, like in an old Disney movie. ,Ohhhh I didn't know you, you are a prince? Can I be your queen? I'm awfully shy, but you love me despite we have never met before and I would do anything for you. Or not, I'm not quite sure yet.''I just met you in a hallway, you are hot. Oh you dump me in the sewer two minutes later, but you are still hot and you find me hot, isn't that hot?'Really? That's what you worked so hard to tell in a whole book? It's not 18+, which would be completly fine, if you wouldn't promise it in the description. Some fumbling above clothes and one look at a exposed cleavage or the mention of a 'hard lenght' isn't really spicy. So when you are looking for some more, this book doesn't have it.What I'm most angry about is, that the story could be good. Triplets that may be gods and have hidden powers are a good foundation. The school they never should have known about and all the characters have potential. But they never get a chance. Most were introduced and never seen again. Maybe the foundation for the next six books, but that's just frustrating. And even the siblings can't hold a whole conversation. 'Woah that's weird, did you see that, do we talk about it?' No, of course not. They constantly wander off, get lost, meet people for five seconds, almost never ask a question that would bring the story forward and act childish most of the time. Its always told, that they are so close, but really - can't feel it. The drawings are a soft manga version, the characters very cliché. Blue hair, white hair, purple eyes, yeah yeah, good for cosplay I guess.I know it's hard to write a book, it's a struggle. They had a good idea, but made nothing of it. That's a shame, it could be good, if they put more depth in it. If you read the description you know already half of the book. The rest is very predictable without any real surprises. I wont read part two, it's not worth it.
