Love these!!
These pastel pencils are absolutely beautiful. The colors are to die for. The texture is just right. Harder than Prismacolor but still soft which I think is great. Maybe they won't need such frequent sharpening. They go on smooth and easy, layer well and are so pretty! If you're questioning wether to get them or not, I say get them! You won't be disappointed. I was skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews (not sure what pencils they are talking about because it's certainly not these!), but went with the majority. I'm so glad I did and you will be glad too. A great addition to my stash! And did I mention the colors are beautiful?? I just have to say more good things after using these pencils quite a bit. They really are great. I also use them with Prismacolor original and scholar. They all work perfectly together. Blending, shading, layering. And many of the colors are totally unique from my other pencils. And they are so pretty! I suggest everyone add them to their collection.

Use these all the time
These are a good addition to my large selection of colored pencils. The colors are different from most of my sets. I use them all the time in combination for shadows and all kinds of skies. They're perfect when you need light subtle color. I love Arteza products because I find them to be high quality for a lower price.

Quality Pencils
These are very nice pencils. There are a good variety of colors. The colors are rich and go on smoothly. The pencils are a triangular shape and easy to hold. The only thing I didn't like was that the name of the color is not printed on the pencil. The only identifier is a number on each pencil. This makes it a little more difficult to tell some of the colors apart. Other than that, I think they are good quality pencils.

One of my favorites now
I am so glad I bought these! They have pastel colors without the pencil being "pastel" quality. I also bought their metallic set and am very very happy with it too!

Lovely pencils
I love the way these pencils handle and feel in my hand. They are superb pencils for the price. I would recommend all artists add these pencils to their sets. I have all of the sets except for the metallic pencils. I'm so glad I have these!!

Nice pencils, limited use
The colors are pastel, they lay down soft, almost creamy. But for 50 colors, they seem limited in range. When I received mine, one of the points was broken off. The packaging is very flimsy and unhelpful for keeping the pencils sorted while using them. It takes only the slightest movement to knock them all about. You will definitely need something else to store them in if you plan to keep them in a certain order. I recommend this, as each hue has several shades of slight variation. For 50 pencils the variety of hues seems limited. I also don't like the fact that they have what seems a strange number system with no color names. Short of using an excellent organizational system with space to keep a labeled color chart, it will be difficult to find the color you need. While you may find some acceptable skin and earth tones, between the packaging, limited hues, and lack of color names (which may be possible to find on the Arteza website), I just feel like they are not worth what I paid. I found another set of more pencils that cost less and seem to better meet my needs. These may be exactly what some people are looking for, and the price is just right for them. Just not for me. I put all the colors down on white paper for the benefit of others. As I plan to return these, I didn't resharpen the broken one. In certain indoor lighting a couple were extremely difficult to see, so I added a label in ink. I tried to put them in numerical order, but messed up a couple of times. I took a couple of photos in more natural light, one with added led lighting. While they are easier to see, a few of them look nearly a different hue than they did in different lighting. I hope this helps.

Se agradece que hayan venido en una caja para protección, lo único que siento que hace falta es que los colores se corren al no tener un sostén más fuerte, creo que tendré que ponerlos en una lapicera para cuidarlos un poco más

I can’t give a very good review of these Arteza Classic 50 Pastel colours coloured pencils because I am missing one colour - A626 and instead I received two A622 colours. I do not need two A622 colours, what I need is the missing colour A626. There is a handy colour chart on the back which helped me figure out what colour was missing. That is very helpful but I am more than a little disappointed in the fact that one colour is missing. I have another 72 set of Arteza Classic Bright Colours coloured pencils and they were all there but I did not buy them on Amazon. I love how Arteza coloured pencils are somewhat translucent, not totally opaque. They are less expensive than other brands too, so if you are looking for a somewhat inexpensive brand Arteza fit the bill. But, the fact that they forgot to put in the A626 pencil in my 50 Pastel Colours I bought on Amazon is very concerning. I love all pastel coloured pencils and any coloured pencils for that matter but the main thing when purchasing any art supply is to get what I pay for. I did not get the entire set so I only gave this set 3 stars, it would not be giftable in my opinion so that is why I only gave it 1 star. Value for money, 3 stars because I didn’t receive all the colours. Easy to hold was the only thing I gave 5 stars to. I hope the seller contact me because this is very poor customer service!
