Designed for mountain and e-bikes, it offers tool-free installation, adapts to tire pressure for enhanced grip and shock absorption, and is both reusable and recyclable. With 15mm thickness at its thickest point, it ensures you can keep riding even with a compromised tube, making it a must-have upgrade for serious riders seeking reliability and performance. ## Description The effective puncture protection system TANNUS Armor offers all-round protection against punctures, cuts and bruises! The system is installed very easily and without tools between tires (free choice of tires and tread pattern!) and tube. The outside of the hose is thus enclosed and thus protected. At the thickest point the puncture protection has a thickness of 15 mm, on the sides and in the rim area 2 mm. Depending on the tire pressure, the Tannus Armour changes its density and the thickness adjusts. If the air pressure drops, the Armour still acts against deformation and still offers high grip and low rolling resistance. It is therefore possible to continue driving at a reduced speed even if the hose is defective. The special high-tech polymer foam also provides good shock absorption while driving and the material is very light and recyclable. Another plus point is the reusability. ## Features - Made of very light high-tech polymer foam - patented Aither 1.1 technology - Very light weight, reusable and recyclable - Very simple and tool-free installation between bicycle tires and bicycle tubes - Quiet and comfortable driving experience - good shock absorption, good grip and low rolling resistance - Support for the entire tire: at low air pressure, the Armor acts against deformation and at higher pressure it adjusts its thickness ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0973LTJ7X | | Brand Name | Tannus | | Colour | Red | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (197) | | Item Diameter | 20 Inches | | Item Width | 4 Inches | | Manufacturer | Tannus | | Manufacturer Part Number | 20 x 3.0-4.0 | | Material Type | Foam,Polymer | | Model Number | 20 x 3.0-4.0 | | Mountain Bike Type | Mountain Bike | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Size | 20" x 3.0-4.0" | | Tire Type | Clincher | | Tread Type | Slick | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Whats In The Box1 - Whats In The Box3 | Instructions | | Wheel Size | 20 Inches | ## Product Details - **Bike Type:** Mountain Bike - **Brand:** Tannus - **Item Diameter:** 20 Inches - **Item Width:** 4 Inches - **Tire Type:** Clincher ## Images ![Tannus Armour Tire Insert 20 x 3.0-4.0, Fat Tire Tube, No Flat Bike Tire Liner, Puncture Proof Tube Protector for E-Bikes and MTB - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31r4A5CYiPL.jpg) ![Tannus Armour Tire Insert 20 x 3.0-4.0, Fat Tire Tube, No Flat Bike Tire Liner, Puncture Proof Tube Protector for E-Bikes and MTB - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61yhyfxKc+L.jpg) ![Tannus Armour Tire Insert 20 x 3.0-4.0, Fat Tire Tube, No Flat Bike Tire Liner, Puncture Proof Tube Protector for E-Bikes and MTB - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41bqoLLD2XL.jpg) ![Tannus Armour Tire Insert 20 x 3.0-4.0, Fat Tire Tube, No Flat Bike Tire Liner, Puncture Proof Tube Protector for E-Bikes and MTB - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41PlyV7lkKL.jpg) ![Tannus Armour Tire Insert 20 x 3.0-4.0, Fat Tire Tube, No Flat Bike Tire Liner, Puncture Proof Tube Protector for E-Bikes and MTB - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41mgYLyR6HL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Tannus Armour Tire Insert, No Flat Bike Tire Liner, Puncture Proof Bicycle Tube Protector, Stops Flats from Thorns and Goatheads Compatible with E-Bikes, Mountain Bikes, and More - Ultraverse 20x4.0, 26x4.0, 20x3.0, 26x3.0 Inner Tube Set with Schrader Valve-Ideal for Mountain Bikes & E-Bikes with 20/26-Inch Fat Tires-Durable & Reliable Performance 2 Pack with Tire Levers --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/433526859-tannus-armour-tire-insert-20-x-3-0-4-0](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/433526859-tannus-armour-tire-insert-20-x-3-0-4-0) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
