Yes it will work with a pc monitor as long as it has the appropriate video input (in this case vga) as for audio, if the monitor has speakers and the same audio input you can use that, otherwise you will need something that connects to the audio input like a pair of external speakers.I have a projector which uses the vga and then I plug the rca into a stereo reciever

No. This does not have an hdmi output, it only has a VGA output and regular component output. The regular component output will display in 480i, while the VGA will display in 480p. Note that 480p is the highest resolution available on the Wii
