the barbed seal seam that snugs into the groove on the bottom of the door was larger than the groove and larger than the barbed seam on the same edge of my old, dead, gasket. that said, we removed the door, inverted it and used pliers to jam the new seal into the door wide groove. so far, no leaks, so, fingers crossed, good enough.

Check your fitting.
Even though the serial number matches the dishwasher, it does not fit perfectly and still drips water. Slower than the old one bit still drips.
