These are amazing to have. I use one in my stage box rack so everything is patched directly into the front. Love it.

I bought this and their Triplite 1500W UPS. I plugged it into the UPS, and only using it for my 3 switches so they don't occupy the entire UPS. I wouldn't recommend using it plugged into the UPS if are powering servers with the PDU because most likely it will overload the socket on the UPS. I have my servers and router plugged into the UPS directly. Very happy with it.

I have this unit installed on my mobile Dj preamp/amp rack. This is a all metal, professional quality, sturdy power tap. I like the fact of having taps on the front and back of the unit so I can leave everything connected when I put the covers on the rack making setup much easier. Haven't used the spike protection feature on the unit yet (hope to never have to) but I am confident it will do its job. I have two class H amps and one class D connected. I also run my laptop, controller, phone charger and with the amps running just below clipping and this unit has not tripped its breaker. The power switch cover is also handy to prevent accidentally turning it off and the unit is quiet with no hum or inline noise. Money well spent in my book.

Tripp Lite consistently produces excellent power management/distribution products. This is no exception. I love the outlets on both sides that allow room for certain wall-warts (based on the configuration of the clunky things). Great that it has outlets on both sides - love that. And the cord is much longer than I expected. I haven't measured it - but looks to be about 6-8 feet. An unexpected bonus.

I bought this to have convenient outlets on my workdesk, using vertical space on a rack rather than clutter in the work area. I chose this for the basic design. I only needed the front facing outlets, not any special voltage/surge control. The construction is sturdy. The internal wiring is nicely done for something designed for easy factory assembly. I got to see it taking things apart to remove the clear plastic cover from the master switch. I agree with other reviewer that the green power LED is a bit bright. The power strip has been handy as intended. I am happy with the purchase.

Fit perfect in my small rack system, the cord was way too long for my application, but some will appreciate that. Looks great too. I like that there are outlets on the back and front and the power switch is covered to protect against accidental switch off.

I bought the 20A version of this some time ago and it seems to work well. Equipment has survived the Florida brownages so far (2 years).I recently purchase the ISOBAR12ULTRA and it is equally well made, very large and thick power cord however it has the same problem as the IBAR12-20ULTRA which is the plug is too weak for the very thick power cord. It starts to fall down soon after.For the price they should use a flat type connector at an angle so that the cord does not have additional leverage.Ideally it would be nice if the power cord were detachable.Even nicer if they have a port for a remote on/off switch.I ended up shortening the cable and also changing the plug to this one:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MPQ4R4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Great unit. I'd buy again if I needed another without hesitation.
