Marabou Feather Boa 2 Yards Long (72") 22 Grams - SHOCKING PINK

Do not under any circumstances bring this item into your home. It sheds everywhere. Like you've killed a duck following a prolonged chase through your home. I bought this to trim Santa hats place card holders. No amount of glue would adhere the the feathers because there were so many loose ones. After completing a few, I realized I could not use these anywhere near a table or food. When I got through cleaning up the project, I looked like I had been tarred and feathered, and so did my living room. You've been warned.

This is not a ready-to-wear boa out-of-the bag. It has a length of corded string either end and looks more like raw material for craft projects. Which was fine with me as I was switching out the Marabou feather on a cat wand. If you are purchasing this to wear, then you have an opportunity to add tassels or such to the ends. The feathers are really well attached in the core of string, there is a slight amount of initial shedding, but Miss Kitty has not been able to shred it at all after many attempts. I cut off a 6" length of the Boa and glued (with E6000) the raw ends to prevent unravelling and then glued the 6" section to the plastic wand.

This is not what I was looking for originally but it has done the trick. I am ordering 2 more to get the 6 in fullness I was looking for. This boa is super soft, it hardly shed since I took it out of the package. The finish was way better than any other I have bought in the past month. There was a small 2 inch length of unfinished rope but I trimmed it and hot glued the end to keep it from fraying. I would highly recommend this item if you need a costume accessory or are just spicing up your life. It looks exactly like the image provided by the seller and I received it very quickly.

Great quality feather boa. I ordered this to decorate an umbrella for my daughters wedding reception. This is was good, the feathers did not come off when I opened the package. It was smooth and looked elegant and soft. I really liked this one and will order again if I need a boa.

I bought a cheap $10 wicker lamp turn it upside down spray painted white and wrap the white boa around it and hot glued it, just got to hang it up turned out perfect . if you do the same just make sure you use an LED light because it doesn't give off any heat we don't want any fires !!!

This boa is a craft item. It's small and is high quality. I had to order two for my project. It's easy to cut and of course messy when first cut but easy to clean up. It hot glues well just watch your fingers when pressing. The color is awesome. It's RED.

The shedding was a bit annoying. Other than that it was good!
