It fits
Bought this for my 1987 MerCruiser 3.0 . I bought a exhaust manifold that fit 1990 and up but it leaket at the elbow. This covered the gasket and hole and no more leaking . Ps , my wife is right. The boat is a hole in the water ( wallet )

Good exhaustion riser/elbow
No leak, no problem. The machined surface is painted. I hope this will help to resist the salt water corrosion over time. My old one suffered an uneven surface due to corrosion and damaged the gasket and bolts.
