Nice and thick leather strips. Used it to hang garden tools off of my potting bench. Was exactly what I was looking for.

Was needing some type of strap for a shotgun shell turkey beard mount I had made to hang in my truck and this leather strap was absolutely perfect. I still have plenty left over and have used it for various other projects around the house. The leather isn't tough and is easy to manipulate and tie knots that will hold.

Nice cord. Used it to tie in a rifle buttstock cartridge holder. Be careful about tightening this too tight, it will break Fortunately 5 yards is a lot of cord, so I got it all worked out. Once it was on my rifle and cartridge holder, it was nice and tight.

Nice leather. I use it on my axe handle and it holds up very well.

Good grade of leather, but a whole lot more than I actually needed, the leather laces were used to replace some generic laces that came with a set of throw over motorcycle saddlebags. The extra leather was used to tie down the sides of the bags to the frame. Lots of good leather for a good and low price.

This looks nice and was sized accurately (4mm) but there is little top grain left in the leather. Most of the material is loose and weak. I tried this out to make some laces for a pair of boots. The top layer quickly chaffed/cracked and then they broke under light tension. The 5 yards was enough to make 2 pairs of laces, but so far I have broken 2 after only a few weeks of use. It looks like it would make a good boot lace, but this is not the case. To be fair, it is not advertised for this application, though it is identified as "Heavy Duty" - it is medium to light duty as far as I am concerned. For more decorative applications I think this material would be fine. The color was consistent and sizing even.

I had ordered this same product a few years ago, for - among other things - hanging up a few knives. Cut to a length of a few feet, and tied with a solid knot, I will wear an old Swiss Army knife around my neck like a neckless. Keep the knife handy and out of the way, at the same time. I needed another length of cord to use in handing up a new hatchet I made with my daughter. So, having used this product before, it was an easy decision to try the same product again. And they did not disappoint. First and foremost, this is made of leather. Not "leather-like", not some viynal trying to look like leather, nor some kind of cheap leather - this is 100% real leather! There is nothing quite like that! On the four sides of the near-square cord, one is dark brown while the three sides are lighter brown. That dark brown, by the way, is very consistent in colour and texture. If you were planning a project that required one "good side", you certainly have that. Does is smell? Well, very little and very, very mild. Did I mention it's leather? There is no issue at all, here. The only other item I feel that can be addressed, is the length. Is it actually 15'? Well, no. It's not. I carefully measured it out, and the total is just under 17'. Now nice is that! This is a terrific product, supplied by a company that is generous to a fault.
