This author speaks to my growing up memories. He is entertaining and writes great stories. His descriptions of people and places allow one to feel present. I enjoyed every word. Looking forward to the following adventures.

when I started reading Forever Texas I wondered if it was going anywhere. Quite a trip followed. Now I am eager to see the adventure continue. Uplifting at times and exciting. A fun read at minimum.

Great story of the beginning of the King ranch. Look forward to the next installment and how the ranch comes together

The ghostwriter of this book did a good job of laying the foundation for a series to follow. The end of the book left me wanting to read more and I hope book 2 comes soon.As I am a historian and writer of the old west, I enjoy some historical novels and this one is an excellent read.

Humerous and interesting. Would enjoy reading the sequel if it's out of when it comes out. It will be fun to read the sequel

Good reading and would like to think it has some historical facts to it. Regardless it is entertaining and a good story.

You've got me hooked! Can't wait to read the subsequent books- A great western tale with interesting characters,settings and story lines. Lots of twists and turns too. Couldn't put it down if I wanted to-

William W. Johnstone did a good job writing this book. It has a feeling of the King Ranch size. You get a feeling that the dreamer of the ranch didn't have much of an idea how to run a ranch. He was just aquireing land and he didn't know what was happening twenty miles from his headquarters. HS had no control. Then he started hiring families to live on his land to watch his cattle. That wasn't such a bad idea. Good book. I enjoyed it.
