Luxurious horsehide provides a long-lasting roughout surface for this pocket holster. The "grip tip" at the top of the holster clings to the top edge of the pocket, which allows for easy pistol separation. Smooth interior is kind to the finish of the handgun. Provided in a natural medium brown finish.

Good product but what Kahr is appropriate for pocket carry.
I carry a MK40 as a backup pistol. This holster is decent but I have a kydex holster on order. The MK40 is heavy for pocket carry. This holster would probably be much better for a Kahr with a composite frame. However, I must state that the leather and construction are very well done and it more and issue of carrying a pistol that is this heavy in a pocket holster. I can pull it off because I am 71 inches tall and weigh 200 pounds and not terrible fat. A thin person would have trouble. If you are a built like a middle aged line backer then you can handle this (if you wear a gun belt). I plan to get a polymer frame Kahr 9mm soon. For that pistol I think that this pistol would be excellent. In fact I gave my first holster to my son who carries a Kahr 9mm with a polymer frame. He has been happy with his holster.

I have been carrying for the past 34 years. I rate this holster five stars.The fit, finish and stitching on this El Paso front pocket holster is excellent as is the simple uncluttered design.The slight hook at the bottom of the holster grabs the pocket keeping it in the pocket where it belongs when drawing the handgun.Horsehide is durable material for a holster of any kind and is my personal preference. I own several belt holsters in horsehide.The vender, eCop! Quality leather at a good price
So far a very good holster. I was afraid it would be too thick, but it is no thicker than the nylon pocket holsters. Rough side out leather gives good pocket retention. Only reason I haven't yet given 5 stars is that I haven't yet worn it enough.
