Mack’s Flightguard Airplane Pressure Relief Earplugs – 26dB NRR, 33dB SNR – Comfortable, Safe, Travel Ear Plugs for Flying Air Pressure Ear Pain, Ear Popping and Noise Reduction

I have a big issue with my ears when I fly or when driving in the mountains going up and down in elevation. My ears have narrow tubes, so they don’t equalize and I end up with ear pain. I live in the mountains of Colorado, so I am frequently driving down 2000' of elevation. That is painful for my ears. I have been using the EarPlanes brand of earplugs for years. They work, but they are very uncomfortable. My ears hurt from the hard material (silicone?) the flanges are made of. So, I was looking for something that had softer flanges. Luckily, I found these Mack’s Flightguard Airplane Pressure Relief Earplugs. Most importantly, these DO work. My ears do not get pressurized when I fly or drive in the mountains. Great - no ear pain! They also solved my issue with the hard EarPlane flanges hurting my ears. The Mack’s earplugs have nicely soft flanges. They are very comfortable. One thing I notice about the Mack’s earplugs compared to the EarPlanes is that the Mack’s earplugs cut the sound a lot more. This is because they are a tighter fit in my ears. For a plane ride, this extra sound reduction is great. When in a car with my husband, not so much since I can’t hear him very well. But, that's a small price to pay for no ear pain! The handles on these Mack’s earplugs are a good size. They are easy to hold when putting in and removing from my ears. I have tried other brands that have smaller handles, these are much better. The little case they come in is very nice. I store my earplugs i the case in my purse, car and carry-on bag (yes, I have 3 sets of these earplugs!). I cannot explain how well these work! These earplugs have made me want to travel again! Please follow the directions to a T. That is the most important part to make sure you are taking full advantage of their greatness. I have for YEARS wanted to almost cry at the idea of flying because the ear pain that is cause by flights for me is so painful and uncomfortable for days to follow after flying. The first time I used these was for a 1.5 hour flight so I kept them in the whole time. They were comfortable, made my ears feel great, and canceled out some of the sounds around me which I appreciated. Then my second time using these was for a 3 hour flight due to falling asleep they were also kept in the whole flight, it was my first time ever being able to fall asleep on a plane. These earplugs are a lifesaver. I have ruptured my eardrums on both ears And they are very sensitive to pressure even more so now than they were before and like I said these made flying a breeze! I recommend these to anyone flying or if I know of friends with little ones that will be flying because I could only imagine the relief I, a grown woman, feel with these I could only imagine how much these help children (they make a child’s size).

The best! Haven’t had problems with flying since! It got to where I dreaded flying because of the pressure it caused in my ears, it literally caused me days of pain and I had tried everything. These saved my ears!!!

I love these earplugs. They are definitely better than earplanes. However, I did notngive 5 stars because on some flights I do still feel the cabin pressure. Not as intense, but it does still hurt. I did download the earplanes app that tells you when to insert and remove the earplugs (I wish Mack's had this) and it helped a bit more, but not all the way. I hope Mack's releases a pair that can remove all pressure. I am happy overall though especially due to the value for the money. They are very durable and not too big, making them easy to insert and remove. These definitely helped to ease my flying anxiety due to my ear pain. Thanks Mack's!

The earplugs are good for long flights specially me who suffers from ear pain 😢 if yall still have a small pain after the flight take some acetaminophen or ibuprofen as backup.

Full disclosure: I wear ear plugs on planes because my ears ITCH when planes are landing, not because I suffer from more serious issues. If you are like me and just want to help alleviate annoying feelings, keep reading. If you have sinus issues or suffer from more than merely annoying discomfort, you might want to start with the bad reviews. As I stated, my ears tend to start itching when planes are landing. It often doesn't go away until the plane has landed and I pull out a q-tip to scratch inside my ears. It's not great to do in public but I hate it when my ears are itchy. I bought Ear Planes for my last flight and found that while they did help regulate pressure, the plugs themselves caused my ears to itch. So I tried these instead for a trip this past weekend. I found them to work very well. My ears still experienced popping but I didn't have to yawn or swallow a lot of chew gum to get them to pop. I had no ear pain, and the plugs themselves didn't make my ears itch. I also found them easier to put in than Ear Planes. I will definitely be using the Mack's ear plugs again and will throw the others away. For me, it's an easy choice.

Not great. I’m an adult male and my ears are about avg size but these hardly filled them so it was hard to get them to do their job. They would be better if these were bigger in circumference.

I give this five stars because of my going and returning flight. I took a flight out and this was my first time experiencing so much ear pain when the plane was landing and once off the plane, I had an air bubble so painful that I didn’t want to experience that pain again. I did online research and found this item and decided to give them a try. I did however, did feel a slight air pressure when returning flight home but no pain. Once off the plane I didn’t have any air bubbles. I also notice that my flying out flight flew higher than my return flight and maybe that made a difference but at this time I will definitely try again. I will be flying out again in a few weeks and will do a follow up review.

Les bouchons s'insèrent facilement, ils couvrent les bruits dans l'avion, ont fortement soulagé le mal à l'atterrissage et les oreilles ne restent pas bouchées en sortant de l'avion. Je conseille de mâcher un chewing gum en même temps pour rééquilibrer la pression

كنت اعاني من الام الاذن بسبب ضغط الطايره وساعدني لكن لابد ان تلبسها قبل الاقلاع ليوازن الضغط وقت الاقلاع والبسها قبل الهبوط ليوازن الضغط

Dolore alle orecchie ad ogni atterraggio così forte da voler urlare , mio marito mi ha acquistato questi tappi e finalmente ho viaggiato rilassata e felice. Consiglio di masticare anche una gomma. All' andata non l' ho fatto e ho avvertito un lieve ovattamento durante l' atterraggio. Al ritorno masticando non ho avvertito proprio nessun fastidio... Gran bella invenzione!!!!!

I don’t typically write reviews but have to say that this product has helped my ear pain immensely during descent/landing. I’ve had plugged ears for days after landing and I fly pretty frequently, and no trick/hack has worked as well as this. Even with a cold and sinus issues, these ear plugs worked great. Highly recommend, even if to help with some noise cancelling!
