This cot is bulky but very sturdy. I was hoping for something more collapsible for storage.

I wanted something to move about the house when the Grandkids visit for them to nap on. Two of the three boys will lay down wherever they are when ready to take a nap, floor, ground, etc. I wanted something to keep them off the floor, patio or ground and thought this might be a good choice. I am very pleased. Not only can the 5 and 3 year old get on and off the cot easily, it's so low to the floor that my 1 year old can also get on and off the cot without assistance so if he falls asleep and by some chance rolls off, which is virtually impossible with the slightly raised outer edge, he is so close to the floor that it shouldn't hurt him.The top of the cot is soft and non-irritating even without a sheet to cover it it. The boys pull a blanket over themselves and fall asleep within minutes. The cot is wide enough that the two oldest can nap at the same time without issues.The cots are made to stack but I only have one and can't test that feature. I do have to store the cot when the boys are not here and thought that might present a problem since it's large, a solid piece and doesn't fold. I can stand it up in the guest room closet or I can slide it underneath the bed until I need it again so storage turned out not to be a problem.The boys also like to use this to sit on and watch TV. All three can sit on it comfortably and have room to spare.It's turned out to be a very useful piece of equipment when the Grands are here.

I got this cot to try out when my grand children visit. It's way longer than expected. I was worried it would be too small for my 4 yr old grandson as he is tall for his age. It's not far off the ground so you don't have to worry about them rolling off. It's perfect for out at the lanai. When the kids visit and want a little rest I can get them to settle in on the cot. Keeps them off the floor and allows for air flow underneath so they don't get too hot in the Florida weather.

This cot is excellent and works well for my preschooler. You can buy sheets for it, and it looks great while cleaning up nicely.
