I needed to get a couple pounds of melt and pour base in a hurry, and not break the bank, so I gave this a shot. It arrived quickly, melted down evenly, held both color and fragrance really well. The way my hand felt after cleanup was impressive; they definitely felt soft. I used this to make mini soaps for my daughter to use as baby shower favors. I usually get my melt and pour in bulk from a specialty vendor online, but I just didn’t need that much, so i took a chance and glad that I did.

Great quality soap base. Works well and easy to use, leaving a nice soft finish in the skin. I tried different fragrances and they bonded well. The soaps turned out pretty good. Bulk prices are pretty good too. I’ll keep ordering this soap base in the future.

Melt just like butter, smells GREAT cool down fantastic, great for soap making…. I LOVE IT.

I'm no professional. This is my second soap base. The first was a shave/shampoo base that I had zero issues out of. This one has turned into a sticky mess every time I try to melt it. I went through the whole block. Same process as the other base. I'm using the microwave, granted. A single 4 oz bar, on 50% power in 10 second bursts. The shave/shampoo base is perfect using this procedure. 20 seconds and I'm at about 130*. This stuff, by 20 seconds, it's at about the same temperature, but within 5 seconds out of the microwave, it's a gooey rubbery mess. If you have a double boiler, give it a shot. If you don't, and if you're not very experienced, I'd suggest another option. Maybe it's me, and it probably is, but that also means it isn't straightforward, and you can't just follow the directions on the block. I have a couple of slabs that I didn't try to melt, that I have used in the shower, and they work well. Out of this world lather and super moisturizing, but that's not why I ordered it. The block comes in 12..I think little slabs. They make a great no fragrance or dye added body bar..again, that's not why I ordered this.
