Tedashii - Blacklight
1. Riot - 1 of the 5 singles from the album, gets the album off on a bangin' start. 5/52. Rock a Bye Baby - Tedashii is on point with his verses. 5/53. Need It Daily feat. PRo - Derek Minor formerly PRo is featured on the track, good feature and verses by both rappers. 2md single from the album. 5/54. Can't Get With You - 3rd single from the album. 4.75/55. That Will Be The Day feat. Jenny Norlin - Tedashii once again destroys his verses and Jenny Norlin adds some stellar vocals. 5/56. This Is The Life feat. Sho Baraka and L2 - Sho Baraka and L2 (some dude I have never heard of before) are featured on this track. Good production, vocals and verses. 5/57. Last Goodbye feat. Benjah - Deep message, good verses by T-Dot and good vocals by Benjah. 5/58. He Lives feat. Flame and Jai - Flame and singer Jai are featured on this track. Love the beat and message, one of my favorites. 5/59. Go Until I'm Gone feat. Thi'sl - Lecrae helped produce this beat, Thi'sl is featured, how much more awesome can a track be? 5/510. Get Up feat. S.O. - Probably my least favorite track on the album, still has a good message though. 4/511. Burn This House Down - 4.25/512. Finally feat. Shane and Shane - Good track featuring Shane and Shane, good production as well. 5/513. You Know What It Is feat. KB and PK - Bangin' beat, vocals and verses. 5/514. Dum Dum feat. Lecrae - Lead single from the album featuring Lecrae. 4.5/515. Reverse feat. C-Lite - If I had to create a top 5 list of favorite songs from this album, this would be in the Top 5. Love the message and C-Lite (now Andy Mineo for those who don't know) would provide the vocals for this track. 5/516. Bravo feat. J-Paul - Solid upbeat track to end the album on. 5/5

One of the best rap albums of the year
That's right, not just Christian rap, one of the best rap albums *period*. This is the first Tedashii album I've purchased (though I've heard many of his other songs) and I was absolutely stunned by how great this is. From the creative beats to Tedashii's trademark, truth-filled lyrics, this album does no wrong. Tedashii goes for a darker style; most of his beats are imposing and buck hip-hop tradition. This however, gives the record a gravity that cannot be ignored, and complements the hard-hitting reflections on God and the Christian life that he throws out on each track. It's really hard to pick favorite tracks, since this entire album is full of dopeness, but the ones that stand out in particular are "Can't Get With You", "He Lives", and "Dum Dum". Get this album!

a must have
Yo...nevermind T-Dot is probably my favorite artist from the 116 (they are all my favorite really) This ablum does it on the real...for me it has the all important play factor...meaning i can listen to whole album from start to finish without skipping over a track...i'm even guilty of hitting repeat on several sets of track...5,6,and 7 stay on repeat. track 15 and 16 are just smoove jams...i will admit to be critical of the ablum at first listen (i really don't know why) but it quickly won me over on the second listen and there after. its for me to listen to anything else but this right now...T-Dot has great featured artist on the record also...and as a add bound i discovers a new artist that is featured on the song "Get up" called S.O. whos album is very legit as well...The thing i loved the most about T-Dot that he keeps growing and producing better music...so yes i would say without a doubt this is he best work...to date! Please get the album and be blessed...

Strong Album
Tedashii's Blacklight is definitely a must have for any supporter of the Reach Records label. Many of the songs are pointed and thoughtful along with rhythms and beats that take it home. My personal favourites for these reasons are Riot and He Lives. He also has ballads that are an encouragement to the Christian faith. One of my favourites, "Finally", features Shane and Shane which I never would have imagined doing a collaboration with Tedashii. The only shortfalls are on some of the ballads Tedashii can't convey the emotion well. Also one song, Dum Dum, has an amazing beat, but the content is lacking.Overall, however, this was a solid follow up to Identity Crisis and if you liked Lecrae's Rehab album, you'll definitely want to get this.

Must Buy
Wow. I never expected to love this album as much as I do! Tedashii is soulful and skillful. This is real rap, not that foul-mouthed skirt-chasing nonsense all over the radios. I used to play this album for weeks nonstop until I left it in my rental car. Sad day for sure. I'll be purchasing it again soon.

Solid album
Blacklight has some awesome songs. Overall a very solid delivery. Some of the tracks don't really set themselves apart and Tedashii's flow can start to sound the same on track after track. But there are some real standouts."Dum Dum" is the highlight to me. Lecrae OWNS the opening of that song and Tedashii really brings it home. I also love "Burn This House Down" and "Finally." I think "Finally" is Tedashii's strongest track lyrically and powerfully. "Rock A By Baby" and "Riot" are also solid tracks. I love This'l's contribution on "Go Until I'm Gone."I'll buy his next album too.

From begninning to end
Huge fan of 116 and been listening to Christian Rap for years now. Tedashii is an artist I've always loved on other artists' albums but never his own...that is until I pushed play and Riot came on! Wow! Tedashii brings Blacklight in with a bang, reloads with every track and holds nothing back as he spits each song. Great tracks featuring very talented artists in the rap world and outside (see Shane and Shane on a track!). Love it. Worth the purchase/download
