Not many companies can say that they still sell their signature product that started the company 95 years ago. Cramer made its first gallon of liniment nearly a century ago and has built on that knowledge ever since with a full line of analgesics developed for athletic trainers and their athletes.

Surprising .......
In short: Delayed warm and hot spells. In detail:When using the different times on my damaged ankle;*First 45 minutes/hour - kinda nothing.*After 45 minnutes/hour - hey, feeling kinda warm.*2 hours in - ok, subsiding, at least from consciousness.* About 4 hours in - OMFG IT"S HOT. WOAH.* About 4&3/4 hours in. Wooh! Ok, maybe normalish coming back.* About 5+ hours in - wasn't that stuff a trip?* About 8 hours in - SURPRISE!!! SUPREME HOT -AGAIN-!!!* About 9 hours in - want more punishent (or distraction) by reapplying some more? i felt pretty much nothing for the first 45 minutes to and hour. ....... then I would get awarm sensation on the skin (felt from inside). ... then it would subside. .......... BUT THEN 4 HOURS LATER OMFG IT'S HOT. --LIKE REALLY HOT--.But wait! - it doesn't stop there.....-- There was more delay of nothing after, and 8ish hour later THEN ALL THE SUDDEN EXTREME HOT.Wow.Um, it's nice to feel the simulation of warm heat on a sore area. - And this product did do that......... after a delay... in the beginning. BUT THEN ExTREmE HOT ------ Intermittently ------ and over a long period of time!Maybe this phenomenon happened because there is constricted blood flow at the (my) ankles/feet? And maybe these effects wouldn't happen on other parts of the body - BESIDES ankles/feet.I originally got this for my mother who has really bad peripheral neuropathy such that she gets crazy-making sensations of freezing coldness in her feet.-- But she HATED this product because she felt she was burning despite the "cold" of her feet. So, the product advertises as being extremely hot. This stuff is effective. ..........Just to have a distraction from the injury pain I have, I might still use this product. The item was packaged securely.

Hot-Hot-Hot!!! But Gets Rid Of The Pain....
This wonderful ointment is overly HOT if you apply too much to the skin. Wear rubber gloves and use sparingly. My husband's track team used this same product when he was In high school (1974). He said it worked!!! Bursitis flared up in my shoulder joint. I could not lift my arm up over my head. I thought I had a torn rotator cuff it was so painful and extremely inflamed. I rubbed this ointment on my shoulder twice a day and at bedtime for a week and wore a long sleeve top. It doesn't really have a smell like Ben Gay and Icy Hot. The weird thing about this ointment is it heats up over time. I woke up out of my sleep because it felt like my arm was on fire. Not to deter anyone from purchasing this product. Honestly, this ointment was healing my shoulder so fast, I mistakenly put on too much the third night. Other than that one mistake while using, I just felt mild heat nothing discomforting. I was amazed how quickly this ointment was healing my shoulder joint. I was able to lift my arm up over my head after only using one week. I have no doubt it works on Bursitis. I'm sure it's good for Strains and Sprains. My hubby had the same healing results on his shoulder. For over 20 years, he's worked at the Airport lifting heavy luggage. He was diagnosed with bursitis, arthritis and tendonitis in his shoulder. This is what he uses to stop the pain and it WORKS!!!!!!!!

RED HOT IS HOT AND IT REALLY WORKS!
Cramer RED HOT analgesic rub has the strongest level of penetrating deep, long term warmth of any analgesic product available. I have used all types and brands on my sore, worn, arthritic knees,(that need to be replaced after two sets of previous surgeries) and I consistently get the best results with RED HOT. Plus, cost wise when bought in the 1 lb jar, it is also an excellent value when compared to smaller tubes of analgesic I have used RED HOT as a high school, collegiate and pro level athlete and have a lot of experience with it. You do not need to use much to get the max benefit and the KEY is to work it in real well into the effected areas. Because it is so HOT, I put it on with a low cost, 5 mil disposable vinyl glove to keep from getting it on my bare hands. After I work it in properly, I then take a paper towel and wipe all the excess rub residue off my skin and the throw the paper towel and glove in the trash. If there is a negative to using RED HOT, it is the fact that it has a red tint to it that can stain light colored clothing, Wiping off the excess helps considerably with that. It also helps if you happen to brush exposed skin elsewhere on your body against the area of your body with excess RED HOT rub left on it, you may soon feel it, particularly if it gets onto sensitive skin areas. The amount of effective, long term warmth that it provides is well worth the few preventive steps taken, when you can function better and longer with much less chronic pain
