THE OLNLY guide on the market!
Well, there's not much to say, when you have to review THE OLNLY guide on the market. Also, by definition, you couldn't say much about the whole book. The region is pretty vast and unless you "live-on-board", there's no way you can say something valuable about the whole book. So, I'll concentrate on my own experience, which is covering Anguilla, St. Martin and St. Barth with its surroundings. I've just returned from St. Martin after a week of sailing and have to admit that despite a few, obviously "out-of-date" notations, all the info provided in the Guide is quite accurate. As the old motto goes, "don't leave home without it."

Excellent Cruising Guide for Leeward Islands
I ordered the guide to prepare for two trips to the Leeward Islands. One will involve the Windstart cruise line and the second will be for a bareboat charter. We have found the guide to be very informative and useful in planning our trips. Contains information on tours that we have been able to compare with the Windstar offerings (Windstar price is less expensive). Looking forward to getting some saltwater on the guide pages in the coming weeks.

Clear, informative, useful photos of harbor entries - its a good compromise for the variety of users of a guide like this. I'm planning a 1 week cruise in the Rennaissance Islands and will keep the rest of the guide for future trips!

Essential Reading and a Fun Read At That
I spent some time in St. Martin recently and made passages to Anguilla, St. Barth's, Saba, and Statia using this book. This guide was essential to the trip. In conjunction with charts, experience, and local knowledge, you could plan a few weeks' cruising. I saw a couple other cruising guides and while good, they don't compare to this one. It's a must have.

Very helpful
I got this book along with the anchorages picture guide. Very helpful to get in and around safely. It's a thick book and covers waaay more area than our St. Martin, St. Barts, sailing trip so it's a little bulky. But, I referred to it constantly to make sure I was on the right tack.

Can't sail in the Caribbean without Doyle. Wish he wouldn't push his advertisers so blatantly, but I guess that's part of the business model.

Excellent
Chris Doyle you are a Star!We have sailed (as amateurs) the Caribbean two years running and used these guides, and they really are the best and most useful ones available. For virtual novices to experiences sailors, he gives you the information you need from rules and regulations, to practical advice, safety advice, where to buy food and provisions, how to get things fixed and the nicest places to anchor and visit. Could not recommend these books highly enough!

Optimal
Wer in den Leewards Segeln will, dem sei dieser Guide empfohlen. Wir hatten mehrere Guides an Bord, die Informationen aus diesem waren am dichtesten an der Realität. Sehr praxistauglich und auch noch witzig geschrieben.
