If your light is blinking, I would first try it in another light fixture and see if it still blinks. With the power off, screw in the bulb. Turn power on and hit power on button on remote. Mine all came to life on the dimmest white option ( there are 3 for white). I than played with the random colors and the timer. I have left these bulbs in the fixture since Halloween. I just turn each bulb to bright white between holidays and colorful on demand anytime I feel like it. Play with the remote very close to the bulb.
