Serious comfort for airplane seats.
Completely counteracts the concave shape of airplane seats, much better than the short wide ones. Allows my neck to be in a neutral position on the seat back, too. Two breaths inflates it, it's easy to adjust firmness, it's easy to deflate to fit in the tiny storage bag, and my spine feels supported, relaxed and even caressed while using it. I've tried self-inflating, gel-filled, and reverse valve travel lumbar pillows in the past, and they don't come close to this. Inexpensive, too. I don't dread a few hours on a plane anymore.

I tried it out in the car and it worked great. Inflating it was much easier than I thought ...
My Vive just came today. I tried it out in the car and it worked great. Inflating it was much easier than I thought it was going to be. Because of the adverse comments about deflating, I found the video showing how to deflate it. Here is what you do to deflate. Lift the rounded part of the piece which covers the inflation valve. Hold underneath that rounded piece and just pull it apart. A very large hole appears in the inflation valve of the inflatable lumbar support and it deflates easily. I found that leaving the deflation valve open while I rolled it up to go in its case was a good idea. That allowed the last bit of air to be forced out of it so that it would fit inside its small case. I’m going to use the inflatable lumbar support on the long plane flight shortly. I do not want to carry a fixed lumbar support because that will be one more thing to manage while going through TSA in boarding the plane. Inflating after I get on the plane seems like a good idea to me. If I run into any problems, I will post again. Given my experience so far, I expect the Vive Inflatable Lumbar Support to work well. Now you do not need the manufacturer to have instructions on how to deflate the Vive. You have those instructions in this review.

Great Product, Will it Last?
Waiting to see if this product holds its air before giving it 5 stars. My previous purchase began leaking air and I could never determine from where in order to fix it. Otherwise this is a great device to support the back while driving. Do not fully inflate; it’s the give and take and flexibility of the pillow to move with the body that makes it so comfortable and supportive. Have a wrench handy to pull open the tab to fill with air.

It only took a about 5 puffs of air to inflate (I was concerned that I would have trouble inflating it) and the one-way valve was a big help--very nice soft rubber valve
This is such a help for my lower back. It only took a about 5 puffs of air to inflate (I was concerned that I would have trouble inflating it) and the one-way valve was a big help--very nice soft rubber valve. I can use it on any chair because the strap is large enough for a dining chair, office chair, or typical wood-back chair. If the chair is too large (like a lounger), then I could easily place it behind me and use simple body weight to keep it in place. There is enough of a texture to the fabric so that it will not slip as easily as would be nylon hard finish fabrics. The nice thing is that not only is it portable, but you can decide the firmness that is your preference by how much air you put in it. This a simple little device that really has made a difference already in my level of back pain.

Product box says it contains a toxic chemical. Don't buy it. I returned it. Hope I wasn't exposed!!!
This pillow comes in a box. The box contains a warning that this product contains a toxic chemical that causes cancer.

Back Saver on Recent Trip to Morocco
I was so thankful to have this pillow on my recent flights. Easy to carry and inflate on plane. Fits into small travel bag once you release all the air and roll back up. Can fully inflate and then release air as needed for desired firmness. Can use for lumbar support or neck support.

Bag is too small
It looks like a good option for lumbar support. The travel bag that it comes in is way too small and it’s impossible to put the deflated pillow back in there, partly because it is very hard to get all the air out of the pillow and partly because of the size of the bag. Fabric is thin but item was inexpensive so the value is probably correct.

Great lumbar support when mostly deflated
This lumbar support was too much for me when inflated, so I let the air out with plans to return it. Before I rolled it to get the air out that remained in the support after releasing the valve, I decided to try the mostly deflated support in my car. When I leaned back against the floppy, mostly airless product, I was amazed at the support that it provided for my back. It actually felt like it was full of air! I've been using this support in its floppy state in my car for about 3 weeks now. There has been no leakage of air. My driving experience is much more comfortable now. I am definitely keeping this lumbar support.

After few days use after receiving it started leaking air. Reading all those reviews prior to buying the product did not help. The saler should test the product before mailing. It has hardly been used for ten days before I noticed the deflation. I hesitated to write this review all these days because I believed in all those goodn reviews. I thought it must be my mistake. So the lession is "do not buy a product based on few good reviews." A good company is always willing to replace the product after reading very very bad genuin review. But it does not happen often.
