might need a better inner hand band but overall great quality. exactly what i needed

So there is a little pull thing with a spring loaded catch that is supposed to adjust the size a little but it isn’t functional. The holes are very close together and the band just runs from hole to hole, not around the head. Basically just cut this off and throw it away.The hat has some things that look a little like the male side of the snap but there isn’t anything to snap to. Could be like rivets on jean pockets but those a placed to reinforce the pocket corners. These are just decorative as far as I can tell.Overall, it is nice the get a comfortable hat in a specific size range instead of one-size-fits-some. I have a pretty large noggin and I have trouble finding hats that fit and don’t look funny. I can’t wear snap back hats because I’m on the last, or next to last, snap and they just look weird stretched over the melon.

Well made, solid hat. Perhaps slightly heavy, but good.Has useless snaps on sides, you cannot snap sides of brim as usual. That's weird. Why the useless snaps, I could never figure it out.I needed a pretty big hat, 7 and 5/8 is what I wanted. This one is advertised with more sizes than usual. I took Xlarge and it is too big. It's the first time I've ever ordered an Xlarge hat that is too large. The drawstring to adjust the hat size is not helpful, it is stitched to limit adjustment. It is loose enough that I can put a handkerchief inside like headband and then hat is OK.

Does as expected. Light weight, airy and appears durable

I am very picky and detailed. Had a bucket hat before that was too floppy (brim wouldn't hold shape) and I didn't want a repeat.This Kingoudoor hat has:-shapeable brim, but not too stiff-feels cool on my head-covers my entire neck-gives shade up front-feels like solid workmanship-fits as listedDoesn't have:-adjustable string doesn't change the size much at all-doesn't button up on the sides. Buttons are decorative only.I am 6'3" tall and am big bodied. My head is 23.5" exactly, so I bought a L and XL since L goes up to 23.5 and XL starts at 23.5. The XL fit comfy, but a touch loose so my ears slide into it a little too easily, but I could wear it securely. The L feels just right. It is not too tight. If you have a 23.5" head, you could wear either, but I am funny about my ears, so I went with the L.I bought both sizes, both sizes of Hikeman hats, and a Leotruny extra wide brim to test them all out. This Kingoudoor feels higher quality, looks better, and fits better than the Hikeman hats. Worth the $23 I spent on it (double the Hikeman). It feels a little premium to the Leotruny, too, but I kept that one, as well, because I wanted an extra wide-brim one, too. That brim covers out to my shoulders. Looks like an old-school rice farmer hat.

Bought this hat for my husband after accosting a stranger in a local store; anyway, I was told we’d have it within a day or two of ordering; however, the day it was to arrive, we rec’d an email saying it would be another week or so. No bueno. The hat was to have been a surprise and it would have been were it not for the delay. Grr! I had to tell my husband it was coming b/c he was hell bent on going shopping for one the day after it was promised.Finally, it arrived in wonderfully light-weight packaging and was exactly what he was looking for in a hat! It looks good on him (and not too bad on me, either;). Worth the wait after all!

This hat fits as expected, is vented on top, and keeps the Sun out of my eyes. The brim is a bit floppier than I like but it does work so I keep it as a backup. For some reason it has features that don't do anything. If you look at the photo you'll see two snaps. Or at least HALF of two snaps: the other half of the snap is missing. On other boonie hats there are snaps on the sides (crown and brim) so you can fold the sides up. Not this one! I don't fish so I don't know: are there fishing accessories that have the other half of the strap? Be sure to order your correct size too. Unlike other boonie/fishing hats, the drawstring at the back of the crown is cosmetic only. It does nothing and you can't adjust the fit of the hat with it. At least they disclose that in the photos. The drawstring works and I have used it but the "buckle" is a piece of cloth and I expect that will fall off or fail sooner rather than later. There are similar, more functional hats at the same price point so I would not purchase this hat again and can't recommend it.

It seems that I have a larger than average head. As such, I had a lot of trouble with most hats. This one fits nicely. It is made of heavy durable fabric but as a result I find that it doesn't breathe very well and is hot to wear in the sun. Would have preferred a lighter hat, cooler fabric but am delighted to finally find a hat that fits
